Chapter Thirty-Four “Yes,” Braydac assured her. My heart raced as everyone rushed to the bed that the nurse had pointed out to Braydac. Darion asked her if she was okay and his broken voice almost destroyed my heart. “Yes. It’s so good to see you,” she said. I wanted to see what was happening, but didn’t want to interrupt their reunion, so I peeked into the cubicle next to mine to check if it was occupied. The bed was empty and the curtain was drawn across the front of the cubicle so I crept along the curtain until I reached the other corner.
