Anne went back into the house to have dinner with her sister. She thought about what her mother had advised her to do, but she shook her head in refusal.
"No, I cannot do it," Anne said, and she went to take her bath to calm down after Teddy had sent her away from his home. Once she finished bathing, Anne got out of the bathroom and dried off her body. She selected a blue nightgown and went to join her family for dinner.
She was still thinking about what would happen to her mate bond with Alpha Teddy when Charlotte awoke.
As she walked ahead to the dining table, her mother remarked, "Anne, I have given you a solution, but you don't want to adhere to it."
"No, Mom. Do not worry; I will be going to work tomorrow, and I wouldn't want you to get into any trouble."
