Dusty clung to Ty’s arms, wincing as each bolt flashed. The storm was right over them, venting a rage she hadn’t seen in years. Above them on the mountain, they heard a sudden crack as though a tree had been hit. The sound of splintering wood was as noxious to her ears as the next bolt of lightning.
