Chapter one
The abandonment
They called me a mistake until the four strongest alphas bowed down their heads.
I was born poor, forgotten, and unwanted.
The moment my parents saw my strange features—my flowing purple hair and the sharp, wolf-like ears hidden beneath it—they decided I was a curse rather than a child. Before I was old enough to speak my first word, they abandoned me on the edge of a small village called Moonshade Hollow.
That should have been the end of my story.
Instead, it was the beginning.

A kind woman named Sefyth Dorne found me wrapped in a worn blanket inside a trashy bin along the road. She was poor, lived alone in a tiny cottage, and had no family of her own. Yet she chose to raise me as her daughter when no one else would.
For sixteen years, I believed I was just a strange girl from a forgotten village.I grew up in a world filled with rejection.
The other children avoided me as if I carried a disease. The villagers whispered behind my back, pointing at my purple hair and strange wolf-like ears. To them, I was different. To them, I didn't belong.
Life was never easy.
My clothes were old and worn, my stomach was often empty, and every day felt like a battle to survive. While other children laughed, played, and dreamed about their futures, I spent my days wondering why I had been abandoned.

I wanted loving parents, warm meals, and friends who accepted me for who I was. I wanted to be like every other child in the village.
