Over the next few days, Sirena was out training with Ethan either on the wolf or dragon territory. Prior to the day they were supposed to go on a test run, Ethan told Sirena to meet him in the clearing for something. Switching to her dragon form, she entered the clearing only to see a women with a big necklace that had feathers covering it. Her senses went on the alert. "What is she doing here? She could get us in trouble." Sirena sent the thought to Ethan while her eyes glared at the woman. "Just listen to what she has to say," he replied calmly. The woman looked at her as if analyzing her form. "Good evening. I understand that you are the other wolf that has the same abilities as Ethan?" She looked at Sirena as if questioning her. Sirena nodded her head, beckoning her to continue. "I'm also under the knowledge that you are adopted." Her nostrils flared at Ethan aggressively. "Trust me you will want to hear what she has to say." He answered her growl with a warning. "You might want to know that I'm not a regular women." Sirena suppressed the urge to roll her eyes. She had heard this before. "People are crazy these days," she said to herself. The woman continued, "You see I'm here to help you achieve what you are meant to do. You may be asking what that is, but in time you will know. For now, I'm supposed to help you find your powers and guide you to find your true identity." She didn't shift because she didn't want to alert the other dragons to her spot. "Can you shift and translate what I'm saying?" She asked Ethan. In reply he shifted to his human form. "Ask her what does she mean by find my powers?" Ethan repeated the question to her. The woman looked at her as if she were missing something important. "You haven't realized that you harness the elements?" Sirena shook her head. "Why do you think the patterns on your back are there? You control nature and water elements" Sirena looked at her figure, analyzing it. Ethan replied, "She's never noticed it before," he added on, "When we first started training, her whole dragon changed its figure. As did her eyes. But she said before, she was the same color as her old sea color eyes." The woman shrugged, "It's because she was hiding her physical self. When she was told to not let anyone know that she was adopted, her powers naturally changed her real eye color to make it seem like she was her adopted mother's child. But really, the Sirena you see in each of her forms, is not the real Sirena. The dragon you see now is her true dragon form. Now she needs to drop her disguise in her wolf and human form." Ethan asked the question before Sirena could. "But wouldn't that expose her family as well? She would have to leave the pack or worse, she could be banished from the territory." The mysterious woman looked at Sirena with a gentle gaze. "No matter what she does, Sirena will have to deal with the consequences. Part of her destiny is to let her real identity be known and to do that, she should start off with her pack. It's up to her when she will do it." "What about me?" Ethan stepped up to the woman. "What is my part in all this?" "You are the balance to her elements. You control air and fire. And also, since I'm not going to be with you guys all the way, you are also her protector." Sirena looked at her dumbfounded. "Protector?" She snorted. "We shall see about that." Ethan glanced at her briefly, giving her a weird look. Her large shoulders came up in a shrug. He turned back to the woman. "What would I be protecting her from?" "Yeah I would love to know that too," she thought to herself. The woman looked up at Sirena for a split second. "Herself," she replied softly. "That's it. This lady is crazy," she told Ethan. "I'm not crazy," the women replied without looking at Sirena. Sirena watched her with a suspecting gaze. "If I'm crazy then it should be impossible for me to be able to figure out what you are thinking," she replied matter-of-fact. "Concentrate on the plants and living creatures around you and you might be able to figure out how to activate your powers. The stillness of the water combined with the rebirth of nature, gives off a very powerful power supply. Mixed with this young mans air and fire makes a perfect balance between the four elements." She looked up into the sky and raised her arms. "It's what provides the everlasting world to be what it is. In the times of trouble," she paused, looking Sirena in the eye, "you will need to know this." Then with a nod at Ethan, she disappeared in thin air. "Well, that was interesting." Sirena said, gazing at the spot where the woman had disappeared. Before she could continue, Sirena could hear in the far off distance the sound of a war howl. She turned and took off in the direction forgetting everything except protecting her pack. The trees were a blur as she used her large frame to break through them. Her powerful legs, carried her faster as she used her wings briefly to pick her off the ground. When she arrived, she saw that there was a pack of rogues attacking her pack grounds near the east pack border. The rogues were mangled with scratches and scars. Not caring that she was still in her dragon form, she leaped into battle, swiping her claws at the nearest wolf and swinging her tail at a group of them that were surrounding William and Nora. Noah was taking two of them at a time and once he got them running, he ran by Nora's side fighting with her. Sebastian was no where in sight. Her father was fighting with a big brute that had a violet chest and tail. Sirena ran to him and picked the brute off the ground with her jaws and threw him to the side. He collided with a tree and was about to start growling until he focused on Sirena. Her nostrils flared as she stood in front of her father. Flapping her wings, she roared in fury. The brute looked at the other wolves around him and howled in retreat. The wolves broke away from the rest of the pack. Sirena roared in triumph as the wolves retreated. She shook her large figure and turned around with pride until she saw her pack looking at her with fear.
