Sirena walked inside and, after going up to her room, she heard her father also enter the house. Taking out her homework and placing it on her desk, her mind was totally distracted wondering if she should tell them about what happened or not. Most of all, she wanted to go test it out but she would have to do it at night and away from the guards that stood watch out of her home.
After she had finished her history and english homework and decided to wait on her chemistry, she walked downstairs to grab something to eat. "Sirena?" She heard her mother call for her from the kitchen. "Come help me set the table for dinner."
Despite being alpha and open to many new things, her mother loved to keep things natural. The table was made of dark oak wood and had a vase in the middle with a bouquet of flowers that her mother kept fresh from her garden in the back. The cabinets had a beige color that seemed a little faded but actually went well with the natural look. The window that viewed the backyard had little pots of random plants that kept the bugs from coming in.
Sirena came up behind her mother and grabbed the plates. She set them out on the table and realised there were five plates not just three. "Are we having guests over?" "Yes," her mother replied smoothly, "The dragon and his son are coming to dine with us." "But why," she replied, "they are not supposed to be seen on our territory."
Her father had told her about the war between the dragons and wolves. It had all ended with each species having their own territory throughout the world. Some rogues of both dragons and wolves had mingled together to overthrow the alpha and dragon leader. To no success, the rogues had been banished from the territory and taken away to a desolate area where they were f*******n to leave. Only the descendants of the alpha and dragon leader were allowed access to the rogues territory. "They wanted to speak to your father about something important so we invited them to dinner. You should go clean up. They will arrive within the hour," her mother pointed to the clock.
She grumbled but went upstairs to change. Looking at her arm, she didn't know what to do. "Should I expose it or cover it up?" The doorbell rang which startled her out of her thoughts. She quickly grabbed a sea blue long sleeve and some tight black leggings. She put her hair up in a half ponytail and left two highlights in front of her face and under her ears. She sprayed herself with her pink rose perfume. One of her favorites. Then she grabbed a pair of silver sandals and went downstairs.
Weirdly, instead of the usual wolf scent that she was so used to, her nose brought her the fresh smell of the airy breeze on a cold refreshing night. She walked into the kitchen and saw a tall muscular male with amber eyes and dark brown hair. Next to him was a boy around her age. He was wearing jeans and a t-shirt. His back was turned so she couldn't see his face. She sat down at the table and twirled her fork around while she waited for dinner to be served. The two gentleman sat down and she finally could see the young mans face. She gasped softly when she met his eyes. They were a soft blue color with a hint of green hues. They were as close to her eye color as it could get. His face registered shock as he met her eyes.
Trying not to blush as he inspected her, she looked down playing with her sleeve. The older man that she assumed was his father spoke.
"Greetings to you alpha's. My name is Blaravok. But you can call me Blar. This is my son Ethan." Ethan looked up and spoke, "Pleased to meet you." Her father spoke next. "My name is Salamala but you can just call me Salem. This is my wife, Jasmine and our daughter Sirena."
She inclined her head in respect. Her mother set out dinner of turkey and mashed potatoes with gravy. After filling his plate up, the man named Blar spoke again, "We have come here today to discuss the possible intrusion of a dead dragon who's name is Moon. She was a long term target that we have been after for awhile now and recently been killed after an attack. Although she is dead, we reckon she made an appearance somewhere near here and we would like to find her."
Sirena spoke before her father could, "What does she look like?" "She is a pure black dragon. Everything including her eyes are black and she is a rogue whom we have caught trying to break into our palace." Sirena's thoughts went wild. "Does that mean that maybe the dragon I saw today altered her appearance to make her look like me?" Sirena looked up at the man and froze. The question came back to her again. "Is now a good time to tell them about what happened?"
