When darkness comes

Chapter 3

I found my way out of the forest with difficulty. I only walked here with my parents and then when I was kid, but I don’t remember any roads or anything. But somehow, I still got out, though on the other side of the city and I no longer had the strength to walk home. So I took the bus and rode almost fainting. I wanted to sleep very much. And I also need to explain to my parents where I was all night, and then also to my friends.

I quietly walk into the house and my gaze immediately falls on the clock. 7:30 am. Just brilliant, I have to go to school today and I feel terribly bad. I don’t even have time to enter the corridor when my mother runs at me from the doorway.

I dragged myself to my room and fell onto the bed, immediately falling asleep. I lay in bed like a vegetable all day, and every now and then I even had nightmares. Wolves, these...vampires? Is this really possible? It doesn't happen like that! They all don't exist.

I started crying, I was lucky that no one could see me and I could cry.Because the wolves let me go, but now there are also some vampires who were clearly not friendly towards me. "Yeah, we decided to go straight to your parents." Max answered. "By the way.... While you were away yesterday, such a hot handsome guy came to our school.

The bell rang, but all my lessons were already over, and apparently this one was too.

" Jessica, do you have physical education now?" I asked.

POV Author

A few hours ago.

"Stupid dogs!" The guy swore and plopped down on the sofa.

“Thank you, if you weren’t so eager to show off your tricks to that girl, we would have taken this damn book.”

"I don't recognize you, Brian." The guy reached for a bottle of whiskey. "Drink up and relax."

“Easy for you to say, Zack.” It’s not you who will be brainwashed by my sister, from whom you can’t save yourself." Brian answered, but still took the bottle. "What to do? She knows about us."

" Kill. " Zach said and poured himself a glass of whiskey, immediately drinking it in one gulp.

“Aren’t you wondering why she can’t be hypnotized?”

"You're already drunk. "Brian grabbed the bottle from his friend and drank.

" Don't drink from the bottle!" Zach was indignant. “I won’t drink after your gay mouth.”

"Oh yes, and I also invited the boy to go for a walk tomorrow after school."

"After what school?" A woman’s voice was heard from behind the guys and a beautiful, stately woman of about 30, with long black hair and business-style clothes, came into their room.

" Oh, little sister, have you come home from work?" Brian asked, feeling that he was already drunk. " Alison, you are the best sister in the world, did you know that?"

"I won’t give you money." Alison said flatly. “You were turned at 18, I was turned at 35, but nevertheless, I look younger than you because I don’t drink like a bitch.”

"Got it, Brian? Ahaha." Zack laughed.

"Did you get the book from the werewolves" The woman asked.

"No, they noticed us." Brian answered

"I had no doubt. " Alison sat down on the sofa and looked at Brian as if he were an incompetent child.“You were supposed to keep this book as your own ass, but you only keep the bottle well.”

“It’s not my fault that five wolves attacked me at one time and took it away. Yes and a plus... — Brian finally put the bottle down. “I’m not a drunk, we’re just stressed today.”

" Really? " Alison said mockingly.

" Zach, tell her! " Brian turned to his friend, but he was not there. " Zach? Apparently he got drunk and went looking for a victim."

"Speak. " Alison made a serious face.

“Well, Zack was distracted by her while we were noticed, and vampire hypnosis doesn’t work on her either.”

" Impossible. " Alison was surprised. " And you killed her? "

"Aren’t you curious why that is?" Brian said.

“I’m curious why I got involved with two idiots who couldn’t kill a mortal girl together.” Alison got up from the sofa and walked towards the exit, but turned around as she passed. “Do you go to school for mortals?”

" Exactly. " Brian nodded.
