Chapter 124 Lena's Admirer

1270 Words

Kaius locked eyes with Fati, cold and sharp. The pressure in the air was thick. Fati almost dropped to his knees. He felt like prey caught in a spotlight. And the hunter ? The Alpha of Blackwood . Holy s**t. The man was terrifying. Every part of Fati's body told him to back down. Drop his head. Say sorry. His wolf was already scared. He knew he couldn't win this fight. "Kaius, take it easy," Fati said. His throat was dry. The words came out rough. His voice cracked. He tried to sound calm, but the fear slipped through. Kaius didn't answer. He let out a deep growl, low and cold. It was a warning. The cold dread spread through his limbs, paralyzing him where he stood. Without warning, Kaius launched forward, aiming a brutal kick at Fati's midsection.
