  Austin's scalp tingled, every tiny hair standing on end as she sensed him getting closer in the dark.   She didn't look at him and just whispered under her breath.   " Don't wake Eliot," she warned.   " He sleeps like a rock," Kaius said, calm and low.   Her jaw tightened. She could feel the frustration rising.
