After Benjamin left, Austin walked down the hall and knocked on Kaius's office door.
A calm, deep voice came from inside. " Enter."
She stepped in, but before she could say a word, Kaius looked up from his desk and cut her off.
" If there's anything you don't like about the setup, take it up with Benjamin," he said, not even glancing at her. " From now on, this is your office. If you need anything, Linus can come upstairs. The walk will do him good."
Austin blinked, a little caught off guard.
She pictured Linus walking down the hall, moving slow like a guy who hadn't seen the inside of a gym in years. Big belly, thinning hair, and that always-nervous look on his face. Yeah, he could definitely use the workout.
