Austin's eyes flickered with momentary confusion. "Dinner with Luna Marry? Why so sudden?"
She glanced at Kaius, who remained expressionless, his golden eyes giving nothing away.
His face was as calm as ever, but there was something unreadable in his gaze.

"Tomorrow would work better," she said carefully. "I'm scheduled to administer Alpha Sherman's treatment then anyway."
Kaius shrugged, his broad shoulders shifting beneath his tailored suit. "I'm just the messenger. Talk to her yourself." He pulled out his phone, scrolled through his contacts, and handed it to Austin.
