High School Drama

I walk up to Diamond and I could tell she is pissed. "Hey, I'm sorry I didn't text you sooner, but I have a lot to catch up with you." Whatever Saleste," Diamond says and slams her locker and turns to face me. "Could it be the pack wide link you sent out this morning, I thought you would have at least told me face to face first, I thought I was your friend," Diamond practically yells.

I am a little stunned by her outburst. "Diamond, that was very hard for me to do, I didn't even know the whole story myself because I blacked out. "That was a repressed memory." " Save it Saleste, I'm done with you, just have my dress ready by the weekend," Diamond says and walks off.

I am absolutely stunned at the way she is acting. She didn't ask if I was ok or what happened over the weekend. "Well fu*k you too Diamond, at least you know my past and I know nothing about why you left your last pack. "You expect me to just spill my life story to you and it's only been a couple of days of us meeting," I shout down the hallway. Diamond slows her pace and takes another look back at me, then continues to her first hour class.

I went into my first period class angry as hell and floped down in the first chair I saw, not knowing it was already occupied. "Well, if I knew you wanted to sit in my lap I would have worn my sweatpants today," Rico whispered in my ear. I jump off of his lap and my cheeks are hot with embarrassment. I take the open seat next to him and try to focus on the lesson, but Rico slides me a note. "Are you ok, this morning was a lot." I am fine I wrote back, and slid him the note back.

I can see my sister staring at us from across the room, so when he tries to slide me the note back, I scoot my chair away from his. Rico scoots closer to me and puts the letter on my desk and nudges his head for me to read it. I open the letter and cant believe what I am reading. Will you go to my party with me is scribbled on the paper with hearts and arrows and two boxes with yes or no under them. I look at Rico, and he is fake focused on the lesson the teacher is giving.

I take my pen and check the box that says NO. Aren't you going with my sister Star, I will never be anyone's second choice and that would be pretty scandalous for an Alpha's son to be going with the outcast. I wrote and slid him back the note? He looks at the note and scrunches his face and starts scribbling on the note really fast. I listen as the teacher starts wrapping up the lesson, talking about graduation in two weeks and preparing for college. The note is thrown on my desk, and the teacher tells me to bring it to the front of the class and read it aloud.

I could die from embarrassment as all eyes are intensely focused on me. I get up slowly and walk to the front of the class. I unravel the note and start reading it from where we left off. " There is noway I would take that wh*re Star to the dance, she has basically sucked every. ENOUGH! The teacher yells and snatches the note from me before I could finish. " Saleste, you will have detention after school for the rest of the week for passing notes." Yes mam, I said and started walking back to my seat." Mrs.Ferguson it was me that wrote the note to Saleste first," Rico speaks up. " I was only trying to ask her to be my date to my party, but she turned me down because she is loyal to her sister." "The party I was going to ask my father to pay all teachers double for being great to me throughout my high school years here.

"Well, I wouldn't want your date missing out on preparing for your party, so let's just skip the detention, and she can just write me a paper on the laws of physics due by Friday. I look up and see the teacher winks at me, and the bell rings signaling the end of class. Everyone heads out of class and Star grabs my arm when I am standing by my locker. " Did you really turn down Rico for me she asks." "Yeah, I did Star just because you hate me, it does not mean that I hate you." Star looks at me as if she is trying to figure me out. Star does something I could never have dreamed of and hugs me tight. "Thanks Salel, she says. Then she pushes me away. "I'm just glad you are not stupid enough to touch whats mine," she says and walks away.WTF

The rest of the day goes by without a hitch. The last bell rings and I head to my locker to grab a book I need for this physics paper I have to write. I am surprised to see Diamond standing by my locker. " Salel can we talk," she ask. Nobody is stopping you," I say with attitude. How could she expect me to want to talk to her after what she said this morning. 'I am really sorry about what I said, I was just really worried about you and I couldn't handle it when you sent that pack wide link and I couldn't be there with you, I felt betrayed and like a s#it friend because I couldn't be there for you in your time of need, that had to be hard for you to do with no one in your corner." I look at her and smile understanding that she only wanted to be there for me. The words Freyja said ring in my ears, my heart has no room for hate.

" I forgive you Diamond, but a friendship should not be ruined that easily." "I'm ready to hear your story if you are ready to tell me," I let her know. "OK," she says, and we start walking towards the pack house. Diamond tells me her story about her previous Alpha's daughter and I laugh so hard until she gets to the end where they are thrown out, and she never shifted. " I am so sorry that happened to you, but I am glad that you came here, and I met you," I tell her and grab her hand. I move in close to her and our lips connect. I slip my tongue into her mouth, and she moans and rubs my lower back.

"I'm not saying I am ready to take it to the next level, but I do know I don't mind kissing you." Will you go to the dance with me," I ask her." Diamond face lights up, and she presses her lips to mine and that is all the answer I need."Diamond, something happened this weekend I think you should know." By the end of my story, Diamond is shaking, and I can see fur sprouting from her arms. Her claws are extending, and her nose is growing into a muzzle. Her bones start breaking and Diamond is about to shift. Twenty minutes passed of me stroking her, and saying encouraging words before a fire red wolf with a pure white heart on her bottom is standing before me .
