EMMA POV
As i sat on my bed in my room, I could not stop thinking about the whole incidence
From me meeting a strange lady saying weird things to me realizing she was right.
It is just so unfair
If my Fate went to Ever then why won't Maddie betray her?
She definitely betrayed me so why is it different for Ever?
Could it be that Maddie had the intention of killing me even before Ever manipulated her.
If that is so, then they would murder me again in this life.
I could feel a cold run down my spine at the thought of it, I can't let Ever and Maddie send me to an early grave again
If I am given an opportunity, I should use it well.
But first, I have to look for that strange Lady, she should have a solution to this. The problem is just that I do not know how to reach her
I don't even have a phone number
Wait, I don't even know what she looks like
I should at least know that before anything else
The knock on my door caught my attention, shaking me away from my thoughts
"Come in" I replied and the pack nurse entered with the stuffs i would be using to collect blood from Ever,
"Miss, it's time. Should I bring Miss Ever here or do you want to go to her?" she asked politely.
I stood up, thinking of which one to do
But then, going to Ever's room would be better, if she's brought to my room, she might cause a scene since Maddie already told her I ordered her to be killed.
However, I am not ready for any drama this day, I am already stressed out as it is.
"I will go to her" I said to the nurse as we both walked out of the room and went to Ever's room
As we got to the doorstep, I collected the equipments from her and told her to leave
"Alright miss" She bowed and left.
I put on an evil look as I entered the room, knowing fully well Ever would be intimidated if I look at her like that.
As I entered her room, she immediately stood up from her bed and pounced on me as the equipments in my hands fell.
Her golden eyes glowed and her claws came out, she growled as she kept staring at me hungrily.
I was not intimidated in any way
She would never dare harm me
Not in Father's house
"Why don't you calm down? I think you are gonna get more mad as we continue our conversation" I walked past her and sat on her bed.
Sitting on the bed, brought back the memories of when I used to be the one in the room
"Do you think I would give you my blood? After you tried to kill me?" She was panting furiously
It felt like she won't be calm until she is given the opportunity to do whatever she wants to me
But she can't.
"What are you talking about?" I arched my brow innocently
Of course, I know what she is talking about.
"Don't try to pretend to be innocent right now!" She fired at me "I heard everything from Maddie, she told me you ordered her to kill me. Do you think you can do whatever you want just because Father and Mother loves you? Do you think they will still have a little bit affection for you if I tell them about everything".
The corner of my lips moved up as I stood up from the bed and moved closer to her
"Ever" I called as I dusted her dress "If you want to bring someone down, you always have to be with an evidence. You want to tell Father and Mother I ordered Maddie to kill you? Do you think they would believe you?"
"They would" Ever was confident "At least, Maddie is a witness"
I laughed. Maddie?
"You've got to be kidding me" I grinned "Maddie is just a servant, Ever. Why should they believe whatever she says?"
"Emma, you wench!" She yelled at me angrily "I swear, I would kill you".
I clenched my fist as I stared back at her raging eyes. The reason why I came here was to provoke her and I guess I am doing it
"You should not say such things" I scoffed and sat back with my legs crossed "Ever, there are some boundaries you should not cross"
"I should say that to you first" She yelled "Do you think I wouldn't know you are secretly trying to get married to the Sutherland twins"
"Point of correction Ever, I am not trying to get married to them secretly. Is there a reason why our marriage should be secret? Who are am I keeping it from exactly? You?"
"You know they are in love with me"
"That's funny" I chuckled "Do you even know what love is?"
"Emma, you.."
"Don't get ahead of yourself, if the twins are in love with you, they won't even agree to get married to me in the first place"
"Do you know what happens when you get married to someone who is not your mate? Your life will forever be miserable" she said in a threatening tone.
That hits the spot but I promised myself to not be intimidated by whatever she says.
I looked at her with a grin and picked up my phone. I dialed father's number and since I am the typical example of Daddy's pet, he picked up immediately.
"What is it princess?" He asked on the other side of the phone
"Father, can we speed up with the mating ceremony? I am running out of time" I said and I heard Father laughing
"You are indeed an impatient one, alright. I will discuss it with the twins Father tomorrow" He said and hang up
I looked at Ever with a smirk on my face
"What do you think you are doing, Emma?" Her face sank in after I completed the call with Father "Are you really going to marry them?"
"Why can't I?" I furrowed my brow
"It's obvious, they are not your m....."
"You should go get some sleep now" I stood up, staring at the equipments she threw on the floor "I guess I won't be able to collect your blood today" I turned to leave but stopped when she decided to throw one last blow at me
"You ugly b***h. You think you will be able to steal Jayden and Kale away from me? You won't. Jayden and kale won't fall for an ugly fool like you"
"That's the problem" I turned back to her "You are underestimating me" I scoffed before walking out of the room.
From an angle outside Ever's room, I could see Maddie's blond hair showing.
She was eavesdropping but probably thinks I won't see her
Too bad.
Back in my room, I kept pacing up and down, trying to gather myself in one place.
Getting married to Jayden and Kale would be an easy thing now since their Father has now become a good friend of Father but I have to stop myself from dieing.
If my calculation is right, the last time I died was during a mating ceremony that Ever organized on my birthday which means, the day I pick as the mating ceremony day is the day I would die again.
I can't allow that to happen
I must do something about this
Or would making my Fate go to someone else make it work?
I can't say for now.
I just have to meet with that strange Lady.
But why isn't she coming again?
What do i have to do to summon her?
There has to be something.
I walked to my window, staring outside but there were no traces of her
I am pretty sure I was the one who summoned her the other day, but how?
I know absolutely nothing about her to be of help.

"My Lady, please wake up now" a feminine voice kept calling me until I finally opened my eyes
I immediately sat up, looking around.
Seems like I slept off while thinking of a way to summon the Strange Lady
"My lady, you need to wash up and dress up. The Sutherland twins are currently with the Alpha" the maid who was in my room with a dress in her hand sai hurriedly.
The Sutherland twins?
THE SUTHERLAND TWIN?!!!
Jesus! That's Jayden and Kale!
"s**t!" I yelled as I ran inside the bathroom.
It took me quite a while but in a few minutes, I was done dressing and the maid helped with a slight makeup
I put on a heels and walked down the stairs
Approaching the living room, I was surprised to see Ever seated with the twins and Father.
I gulped as I slowly approached them
Ever had a grin on her face and that gave me the chills
Why is Ever here?
Could it be that my plan has failed?
