“Oh yeah?” Riley asked, knowing what she meant but couldn’t believe it.
“Yeah, I mean, why go to sleep just yet?” she shimmied her way over and he wrapped his arm around her, bringing her into his bare chest and feeling her breasts against him, causing more blood to rush to his face.
“Yeah, why not just stay up?” his voice was low as he looked down and saw that she was in a loose braid, which laid across her neck perfectly. Her small, gentle hands rested on him so nicely and one of her legs fighting not to wrap around him. Somehow, he found the confidence, and he pulled her leg up, noticing a small gasp of surprise come from Taylor. She hadn't expected it and was working on building her own confidence.
After a few moments, Taylor slowly traced her hand down, meeting the waistband of his shorts that she had given him. Slowly, she began tugging at it and bringing herself closer to Riley, making it hard for him to breathe. She leaned up and left a few small kisses right under his jawline.
What the f**k am I doing? Taylor's mind screamed, but she found herself actually enjoying it, so she kept going.
“Why is this still on?” Riley whispered as he traced the straps of the nightgown. He had to have her. Riley slipped the nightgown off to reveal no bra and a matching light blue thong. He pushed her back into the pillows as he quickly stripped, never leaving eye contact as she nervously waited.
Leaning over her, he began kissing her with more passion than she had known possible, making his way down her neck and on her chest. The lower he went, the more she squirmed, encouraging Riley to keep going. He took his time, making sure to give her hip bones plenty of love. Slowly, he reached up and removed the thong.
He noticed that although she was clearly enjoying herself, she was also quite tense and seemed anxious about the whole thing. She moved about awkwardly like she knew what to do, but had never actually done it before.
"You've done this before, haven't you?" He whispered in her ear. Riley didn't want to do anything she wasn't comfortable with. he leaned back a little and watched as she shook her head and looked down at her hands.
"No, not really. As I said, strict religious household, and then I moved here. Didn't really have the chance." she cut her eyes up at the ceiling as she tried to hide her embarrassment.
"No need to be embarrassed, my love." Riley leaned back in, holding her waist with a strong grip. "Just follow my lead, okay? We'll go slow." his voice calmed her down enough and she lay down with her braid laid out to the side. Riley stood over her, looking down at her with a sweet lust behind his eyes.
After a few hours, they both lay there, trying to catch their breath. Riley was still on top of Taylor, who held him close, but he still managed to keep her closer. Once they were ready, they began cleaning up the mess they had made and sat back on the bed.
"Are you okay?" Riley asked as he lay back and noticed tears in Taylor's eyes.
"Yeah, I don't know why I'm crying." she tried to keep her voice firm but failed as she wiped at her face, angrily trying to make it stop. A feeling she'd never felt before overtook her, making her feel a million different things at once.
"Come here." Riley reached over and brought Taylor into a tight hug, rolling over and pulling her close. "It's okay. You know we didn't have to, right?" He was worried he had done something wrong.
"No, I wanted to." she confessed, which made her cry even harder. "It just overwhelmed me a bit, I guess." Riley just held her close and rested his head on her shoulder, trying to bring her comfort as they cuddled under the sheets and slowly drifted off.
The next day, Riley was the first to wake up. He was about to get up and start working when he remembered that they had agreed to just relax today. Laying back down, images from the night before flashed in his head. He looked over at Taylor who was curled up in a ball, sound asleep. She looked so peaceful as her hair that had fallen out from the braid fell all over her face and the pillow.
He got up to at least put some clothes on when he noticed their clothes from last night still laying on the floor. He began picking them up when Taylor started to wake.
"Riley?" she called, noticing he wasn't next to her.
"Yeah?" he called, putting pants on as she burrowed even deeper into the covers. "Are you cold?" he chuckled.
"Yeah, but I'm also naked."
"That didn't stop you last night." he smirked as he went into the living room to get a good fire going and heat up the house. Once the only sound that could be heard was the crackling of the flames and the gentle wind outside, he decided to clean up the house a bit to help Taylor out.
"I thought we were going to relax today." she pointed out from the bedroom doorway, wearing only a shirt and a pair of ankle socks.
"I figured I'd help you out." he explained as he scrubbed the top of the old stove.
"Oh, would you stop worrying about me all the time?" she walked into the kitchen grabbing the tools from his hands. "Come back to bed and relax."
"You want me to just lay in bed with you all day?" Riley asked with a small smile. He could feel a softness in his chest as she began smiling herself and nodded eagerly.
They both returned to the bedroom, eating a granola bar for breakfast.
"So about last night-" Riley began.
"Don't feel bad. I honestly don't know why I was crying so much but you didn't do anything wrong, I promise." Taylor interjected.
"I was going to say that that was the best experience I've had, but thank you. If you ever don't want to do something, just let me know. It won't hurt my feelings." he rolled over to face her as she looked at him with heavy eyes.
"What's the matter? Are you still tired?" he asked, noticing her blinking beginning to slow and a faded look take over her normally bright and clear eyes.
"Yeah. I don't know why but I don't feel too good this morning. I think I'm getting a cold or something." she laughed a little. "No big deal. We rest today and get back to work tomorrow." she snuggled into the pillow more. Riley watched as her eyes fluttered shut. Moving a strand of hair away, he leaned over and kissed her cheek, noticing it was a tad bit warmer than usual. She didn't have a fever yet, though, so there was no need to worry.
Riley left the bedroom and decided that he'd just do some light work. He couldn't stand staying still when things needed to be done, rest would come once the house was finished. Taking an old rag and a bowl of soapy water, he began washing the walls and preparing them for their own coat of paint. He worked slowly, taking his time and cleaning from the top all the way to the bottom of the baseboard.
It took a good few hours, and once he was finished, his wrist ached and his hands were shriveled from being in the water for so long. He had expected Taylor to have woken up by now, so he decided to go check on her before working on the old cobwebs and dust that hung from the ceiling.
As he approached her bedside, he noticed her face was beet red. Concerned, he felt her forehead and noticed she was burning up. Now it was time to worry. He went on the hunt for some kind of medicine and found some expired ibuprofen.
"It's not too far out of date." he told himself as he got her a glass of water and woke her up to take the pills. Having also found a thermometer, he took her temperature. 103.6. Higher than he liked but not time to completely worry. He'd just have to keep an eye on it and give her plenty of medicine to keep it down.
