POV’s Tate Like a repeat of that awful family dinner. As well as coming up with some good stories to tell my family about my lovely boyfriend. It was like I’d be trading one chaotic aspect of my life to deal with another. Still, a break is a break. I couldn’t tell if I was relieved to leave school and Philip behind or dreadful of the week ahead. When I made it back to my family’s apartment, I was glad to find that only my parents and brothers were waiting for me. I got a warm welcome, my bags carried to my room for me by my dad, my mom having already prepared my favorite dinner–rice mixed with tomatoes and beef.
