POV’s Philip Now, I could go home, change, get to practice, and skate until my body hurt so bad that I couldn’t even think about this test. Or about Penny. I opened the door of the classroom, stepping out. People crowded the building, and it was nearly suffocating. I shoved my way out, ignoring how people glared at me. I didn’t care. I needed to get out. Once I stepped out into the gloomy air, I felt somewhat better. I closed my eyes, standing at the top of the stairs, feeling a few light droplets of rain hit my face.
