POV’s Philip I set the box down beside the bag. I wasn’t sure. As I said, I didn’t know the order of these things. I hadn’t had dinner yet, so I was kind of hungry… “Cake?” I don’t know why I said it in such an unsure manner, but it just came out that way. I wanted to slap a hand over my face.
