Apology

Dimitri and Ian are starting at me with a confused expression. Dimitri’s hands are in his hair pulling it gently and ruffling it. Ian is just standing there shocked. Dimitri’s office is a huge mess. He broke his desk in two, everything that was on the desk went to the ground. He threw the chairs into the corner. 

  “Are you just going to stare? Or will you speak?” I’m standing in the doorway with my hands on my hips. 

 “I...I don’t know how to say it.” Dimitri said looking at the floor. 

 “I have some things to do.” Ian said standing in front of me, trying to get through the door. I step aside so he can go out. Dimitri and I have to discuss about this privately. 

 “Look, I’m not asking you to change or to act like a lovesick puppy. I’m just asking you to give Louve and Spe a chance to get to know each other better. They deserve happiness.” 

 “I know, but you have to understand that this is new to me. I’m sorry for what I said earlier and for my behavior but when I first saw you at the training ground I was jealous because you were surrounded by men and you were touching Ian.” 

 “I was fighting with him! I didn’t touched him intimately.” I replied. 

 “I know but I can’t help it! I don’t like this feeling, I was never jealous of anyone! And then you show up from out of nowhere and when I see you first you are just wrestling with another man. I had to restrain myself a lot from killing every men around you!” 

 “So what will happen to Klaus in my next fight? You will kill him or what?” What is wrong with him? I know that alphas are more possessive but I had no idea they would go that far. 

 “Anyway, why do you have to fight one of my best warriors?” 

 “You act like you weren’t present. He insulted me! He said that I’ve cheated in the fight against Ian. I have to fight my own battles to get respect.” 

 “I can understand why you have to fight him, but you are my mate what means that you are their Luna. You don’t need to fight him! They will respect you and your title. If anyone is against you being the Luna then they have to deal with me.” 

 “Ooooo, I didn’t agree to be the Luna of your pack. I want no one to know about this! I’m here to help your pack, to deal with the rouges. We must work together peacefully so we can finish as soon as possible.” 

 “But you said that we have to give it a chance.” 

 “Yes, but that doesn’t mean that everything will go well. I will give you a chance because Louve said that Spe is actually a great wolf. I don't know what could have happened to you behaving like this to your mate, but I will give you the opportunity to show me that you aren’t a big bad wolf.” 

 “So what I’m supposed to do?” 

 “That’s your decision. I have a fight to attend, so I have to get ready for it. After lunch we have to discuss about the party.” 

 “As an apology, what if I took you out for dinner?” Dimitri asked me with a smile plastered on his face. 

 “Lou, what do you think? Do he deserve to take me on a date?” I don’t know what I’m supposed to say. 

 “I think this is a good step from him. I want to spend some time with Spe and I want to ask him about the drawings. Let’s go on a date with him!” 

 “Okay, but first...” I said with a devilish smile, looking into Dimitri’s eyes. 

 “You ask me out on a date? 

 “Umm...yes! What do you think?” He asked me shyly. 

 “I’m going on a date with you, but I want it to stay between us. I don’t want to give your pack false hope.” 

 “Okay, but Ian already knew about us. He wanted us to meet, and I didn’t know why. He was acting weird ever since I came home. I don’t know how he could found out sooner than we did.”

 “Me neither. Yesterday he told me at the breakfast while I was eating that something big will happen to me. Whatever I have to go.” 

 “Be ready at seven.” I heard him say as I left his office. I don’t know why but I found myself smiling. 

 In my room I’m sitting on the floor, next to my bed, with my phone in my hand. I have to tell Richy that I found my mate and what happened with the rogues. Yesterday I didn’t called him because I was really tired. I’m nervous. 

 It’s ringing. 

 “Hey babe, how are you? How are the things going at Blood Moon?” 

 “Hey Richy, everything it’s complicated. Yesterday night I was in the forest with Becka, we ran together. Near the northern borders we found 12 rogues who were looking for a white wolf. At first I thought they were talking about me, but no one know about Lou here, just the warriors from Night Sky pack. It was later revealed that there is a white wolf here as well. I don’t know who is, but I will find out.” 

 “Are you okay? Feel free to come home if you want.” 

 “I’m all right. I'm not going home, I still have to find out more about the rogues. We captured one rogue, it turned out to be Becka's mate. I need to interrogate him. I will let you know if I can find out something new.”

 “Just be careful, I’m missing you. I don’t want anything to happen to you.” 

 “I miss you too Richy, I will take care of myself, I promise. Talk to you soon, love you!” 

 “Love you too! Bye!” He replied hanging up. 

 I really love him, I couldn’t get myself to tell him that I found my mate. We may not get along well with Dimitri, I’ll tell him when things are going to be sure. 

 I get up from the floor and I’m heading to my closet. I choose dark red leggings with matching sport bra and black running shoes. I tie my hair in a bun, I wash my face after I wipe the makeup off. I’m ready. 

 “Lou, what about you, are you ready?” 

 “Of course, no question! Let’s show them what we can do!”

 In the hallway I meet Ian and Dimitri. They are discussing something. I don’t want to interrupt them but as I got closer to them, they noticed me. 

 “Hey Emma! Are you ready? I put a lot of money on you, so please beat Klaus.” Ian said with an amused expression. Only he knows about Louve. 

 “Don’t worry, I don’t disappoint you, but I want my share of the money!” I replied with a laugh. 

 “Just be careful.” Dimitri whispered, looking into my eyes. 

 “I will. See you later!” I said goodbye to both of them. As I’m heading to the training ground, I meet Becka and John. 

 “Hey! How are you? Everything is good with you two?” I asked them with a smile. 

 “Yeah.” Becka replied shyly blushing. I’m glad they found each other. They deserve to be happy. 

 “John tomorrow morning we need to talk together with Alpha Dimitri and Ian. We don’t want to waste more time.” 

 “I hope that I can help you with everything I know.” He indeed want to change his life because of Becka. 

 “It’s time! Where is that Beta? Did she come at all or she is afraid?” Klaus asked amused the crowd who gathered at the training ground. 

 “I wonder if your mouth is just great or you will be able to stand up to me for 2 minutes.” I said as I go to the middle of the circle that the people created who are waiting for our fight. 

 “The rules are simple, the winner is the one who immobilizes his opponent for 10 seconds. Do you understand?” Ian said behind me. I didn’t notice he is here. 

 “Understood.” We said in unison facing each other. 

 “Are you ready?” Ian asked us looking at both of us. We nod as a response. 

 “Then the fight can begin!”

 We are circling around, waiting for the opponent to make the first move. Obviously I’m not the one who is impatient. Klaus wants to punch me in the face but I averted it. I attack back with a knee kick into his stomach. As he curled up I kick his face with my knee several times. He managed to push me away and lunges at me angrily. I kick him with a front kick at his stomach making him to stumble an fall. 

 “You need to calm down. Never attack in anger!”

 “f**k you!” I think I made him angrier. I was just trying to learn him a lesson. 

 “We’ll finish sooner than I thought.” I said more for myself. 

 As he try to get up from the ground, I take a step forward and kick him in the head with a spinning back kick. 

 “Emma won with a KO!” Ian said happy obviously because he won too.
