Training ground I

  I wake up to the sun what is shining on my face. I forgot to pull down the blinds yesterday. I get out of the bed, go to the bedroom to shower and make my daily routine. 

  I get out of the bathroom in my black silk robe, heading to the closet. I stopped in front of the mirror, the bite mark was disappeared. I’m glad that it healed so fast. I choose a black lace bra with matching panties. Ripped black jeans with a white tank top and white Converse. I leave my long straight black hair to fall on my shoulders. My hair is pretty long, it’s up to my waist. I rarely wear makeup, so I don’t put anything on my face. 

 “You are beautiful without any makeup. You are powerful, smart and beautiful. Fatal combination.” Lou said smiling to me. 

 “Thank you Lou! I’m glad you think that about me because without you I’m nothing.” I said smiling at my reflection. 

 “Now go, eat something. I have a good feeling about today.” Lou said disappearing again in the back of my mind. 

 “Morning Becka! Everything is good?” I mind-link her. 

 “Good morning! Yeah, everything is fine. We are heading to the canteen. Are you joining us?” 

 “Yes, I’m coming now.” I replied to her and closed the link. 

 As I get out of my room I bump into Ian. 

“Good morning! How are you? Do you feel better?” Ian asked, joining me for breakfast. 

 “Morning! I’m good, thank you for yesterday. You helped me a lot.” I replied with a smile. 

“As I said yesterday, I’m here for you.” Ian replied giving me a side hug. 

 “Thank you! And I’m here for you too! Don’t forget.” 

 “Thanks Emma! Dimitri will arrive in a few hours. After training you can talk to him about yesterday. I thought it would be better to interrogate John together, in the presence of Dimitri.” Ian said reaching the stairs. 

 “Just don’t forget to not to mention my wolf. Please.” I said looking around us. I don’t want anyone to hear what we’re talking about. 

 “Of course, I know. Keep calm.” Ian said smiling at my behavior. 

 As we enter the canteen Lou makes her presence. She’s agitated, I don’t know what’s wrong with her. She’s peeking but she’s staying silent. I hope that after training she will be better. 

 “Morning!” I greet Becka and John, they look great. I think that they already started the mating, if you know what I mean. 

 “Good morning! John this beautiful lady is Emma the Beta of Night Sky pack and Ian is the Beta of Blood Moon pack, Emma, Ian, he is John my mate.” Becka introduces me to John like we never met. I love that I don’t have to tell anything to Becka because she knows how to deal with situations like this. 

 “I hid my scent yesterday in front of him. He doesn’t know we’ve met before.” I said through mind-link to Ian. 

 “Nice to meet you John. In a few hours my Alpha arrives, what means that we can discuss about, you know...” Ian said trying to be gentle with him. 

 “I hope that I can help you in any way possible. I didn’t knew that I will meet my mate here. I waited for this moment for too long.” John said looking at Becka who is blushing from the words which left John's mouth. 

 “I’m sure that you can! But for now, enjoy each other’s company for as long as you can.” I said with a smile looking at both of them. 

 Me and Ian decided to take our breakfast outside. I chose waffles with chocolate cream and sour cherry gem, omelette, bacon and a huge cup of coffee. Ian choose omelette with bacon, toast and orange juice. 

 “Are you really eating waffles with chocolate cream and sour cherry jam?” He asked me looking at me strangely. 

 “Yes, why? If you haven’t tried it, don’t judge it. It’s really good!” I said shoving my waffles into my mouth. 

  “Whatever. After breakfast we are going to the training ground. I have to observe your warriors as well. After we finish our business at the training ground, we have to make the training plans and a good strategy if the rogues are planning an attack against us.” He said finishing his breakfast. 

 “Okay. Are we waiting for Dimitri or do we start without him?” 

 “Let’s see when he get home.” He said smiling at me. 

 “What’s with that smile?” I asked him not knowing why is he in such a good mood. 

 “Nothing.” He replied giving me a brighter smile. 

 “You are weird.” 

 “You will see it in the near future.” He said grinning like a kid. 

 “Whatever.” I said rolling my eyes at his childish behavior. “Let’s go to the training ground. We have business to do.” I said standing up from the table. 

 “Okay. I’m curious how your warriors are fighting. I’m curious about you too. I hope we will be able to have a friendly fight together.” 

 “I’m curious about you too. I heard that your pack is powerful. I want to see with my own eyes. I’m getting into a fight with you. Just don’t forget that I can’t shift in front of others. We will fight in human form.” I said standing in front of my room. 

 “Perfect. Go change, meet me here in 10 minutes.” Ian said entering in his room. 

 I’m changing into a black leggings and a black crop top. I tie my hair in a high ponytail and braid it. 

 “Lou let’s show them how strong a real pack is!” 

 “Let’s show Ian how strong we are!” Lou said enthusiastic, Ian is already waiting for me in the hall. 

 “Are you ready?” He asked me ecstatic. 

 “What’s wrong with you? You are so enthusiastic since breakfast. Are you planning something? Are you a prankster?” I asked him concerned about his attitude. 

 “Nope!” He replied popping the “P” like a kid. 

 “I see.” Jesus, this grown up man is worse that a child. If you ask a child he will tell you what’s wrong. 

 At the training ground Ian introduce me to their trainer. 

 “Emma he is Xander the packs trainer, Xander this beautiful woman is Emma, Beta of Night Sky pack.” We shake hand. 

 Xander is an average looking man. Brown long hair tied in a low ponytail, muscular and shorter than me. 

 “Hello! Nice to meet you! I hope that we can collaborate peacefully.” 

 “A pleasure to meet you!” He replied. 

 Becka is approaching me, i hope that everything is good with John. 

 “Hey Em! I met a few good fighters here! They are really strong, but I think that we can beat them.” She said with a devilish smile. 

 “Do you think that? Ian do you want to show them how are we doing here?” Xander asked him a little nervous. 

 “Yeah, why not?” 

 “Who do you want to beat?” Xander asked him with a content smile. 

 “I think it would be fair to ask Emma for a fight.” Ian said looking at me. 

 “Okay then. Let’s show them what Night Sky can do!” My pack rejoices at my words.
