Chapter Nine
Beatrice not only gave Noo-noo some love, she took her on a walk ... after enjoying a tremendous brunch of eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Sometimes, even when Beatrice was feeling tired, a walk was a good way to get re-energized. Even with the kind of walking that Noo-noo was fond of ... stopping to smell everything and saying hi to people along the way.
After the walk, she had enough energy to take some gardening gloves and work at weeding in the backyard. There was one bed that just couldn’t seem to stay weed-free.
