Chapter One: High School

Here I am, A senior at east Caldwell high school. I guess you can say I sort of fit in with the loner jock stereotype. I am on my way to class to meet up with my friend Jackson. Jackson and I have been friends since we were in diapers, our dads grew up together and decided we should grow up together to. Although Jackson is more outgoing and I am more of a home body with dark twisted thoughts, who would rather chill in my room studying death. Jackson on the other hand is this long-haired brown eyes out going partier who like new adventures. Trust me I do not know how we even ended up friends, we are total polar opposites whereas our dads both graduated top of the glass and majored in science, I really don't see how we came to be. Me the loner and Jackson the hippie. 

" Hey, my dude" Jackson yelled from a distance. " what's up? " David said in return. You hear about the party at the Johnson's house tonight? Jackson asked David. You want to go? Nahh, David answered, I am good, he continued. I have my studies to catch up on got to keep these straight A's up if I want to go to Harvard. You and Harvard man when are you going to learn how to have some real fun! Jackson booed at David. Come on it will be fun! You need to loosen up.... David zoned out thinking would he rather stay home and watch more ID documentaries or go out and try to be a semi normal human being for once. SOOO earth to David, Jackson said waving his hand in front of David's face. Sure, why not, David exclaimed as the bell rang. I will see you after school David says as he rushes into class.

6hrs later....

*horn blows* 

I rush to my window to see Jackson blaring his horn impatiently while I proceed to put my shoes on. I am coming. I am coming David says rushing out the front door. Dude you got to chill put with the honking you know it drives my mom nuts. My bad, Jackson exclaimed. Ah s**t here we go, Jackson yelled as he turned up the radio and we sped off into the night. " he said it wouldn't be long when he was with me yeah me singing, I love rock and roll so put another dime in the jukebox baby!" Jackson screamed to the top of his lungs. Jesus how is this guy even a part of my life....

Just as we were pulling up to the Johnson's house, I could smell the fumes of pot and alcohol being mixed in the air. A bunch of schoolgirls who looked way underage dancing have naked high and drunk with a bunch of college guys. Sick if you asked me why these grown men are all over what children in my eyes. I walked into the front room and saw a familiar face my neighbor Elizabeth was here. I could not help but stare and observe her brown eyes and olive skin and her long silky black hair. Oh, s**t she is walking towards me. Hey Jackson! Hey David! Elizabeth smiled. Hey, I said in a soft whisper unsure of why she was talking to me. Look I know we don't know each other like that and we have practically grew up together but never talked but we are at a party and I don't know anyone here I accept you two so do one of you mind dancing with me ?, Elizabeth asked. I will pass Jackson said I got my mind on those weed brownies over there. Elizabeth chuckled and simply responded ok how about you David? Sure, why not I smiled awkwardly. Jesus if only this girl knew all the thoughts in my mind when I saw here my body responded in so many ways. 

About an hour into the party Jackson and a couple of his other friends Jamie, Anna, and even the infamous Erick an Eli Johnson twin brothers decided it was time to play a game of truth or dare. 

So, Anna, Erick teased. Truth or Dare? Erick continued.... DARE!  Anna responded. “Hmm I dare you to take you shirt off Erick “, Erick chuckled with amusement. Please that's easy Anna responded as she took her shirt off and revealed her hot pink sports bra. Ok your turn Jamie, Truth or Dare .... I will go with truth Jamie responded. Have you and Eli ever hooked up. Hey that's not cool bro, Eli looked at his brother with blood in his eyes. We will have you. Erick repeated the question to Jamie. Yes, we have are you looking to make some snide comment about us being gay lovers, Jamie said sarcastically.  Ok it was a joke, Erick chuckled. Sure, it was Eli responded. Alright you too! Jackson intervened... its David's turn. David, truth or dare? Asked Jackson. Dare replied David. Jackson started laughing hysterically. I dare you to kiss little miss Lizzie over here. 

David and Elizabeth stared at each other awkwardly. It felt as though my heart was beating out of my chest. She smelled of cherries and Rose's. Her dark eyes filled with the same lust as mine. I have never done this before I know how cliche I am a virgin shocking for me being a seventeen-year-old in the year 2020. I slowly brushed my lips on hers, sparks erupted all over the place. I have never felt such passion. I have never wanted someone this much. I deepened my kiss with her, it was as if there was no one in the room that was until Jackson made himself known. Ok you guys GET A ROOM, Jackson chuckled. I pulled away from Elizabeth awkwardly. My heart still fluttering like crazy. But still why do I feel a need to do so much more than just rip her clothes off her. This desire I cannot describe. I think it is time I head home, I interrupted everyone's conversation. Ok I will drive you home Elizabeth said standing up. Thank you but I can walk we have all been drinking rather be safe than sorry. Are you sure we are 30 mins from town let alone an hour from your house? I am sure I need the walk help sober me up. Goodnight everyone sees you Monday, David says as he leaves the house....
