Could it Be.......

Vincent Stella walked away in a hurry. The vials were clasped tightly in her hands. She held them close to her chest, her heartbeat was a bit erratic as she walked. I wasn’t going to call her out about her actions. In doing so, she had slightly hurt my mate Tonya, her daughter's feelings. We all had work to do and I understood that well. She had no time to think about her real mate, Ward, who had resurfaced, and the fact that she could feel him through their bond the minute she stepped foot into the Shadow Garden. Drake had left the gateway door leading to and from Henry's mansion accessible to us for the time being. I had no idea he could do that, which made me smile at his resourcefulness. Doing this would take less energy. Stella was heading straight to the lab from the mansion to finish up the plan with Rebel. The medusa spell had been perfect to use, just like Harper had suggested. My eyebrows arched up at the thought of Harper. She had indirectly helped us, but I felt it was more than that. Rebel was the second head of the Cree Council. To make matters more complicated, she was also Suxhen’s mate. Having her in our hands gave us a secret weapon against him and the ones that were left standing behind him in the dark cunningly hiding. Phoenix and her children were an increasingly living, breathing gold mine. The firstborn children in the Lineage mixed with the family of Fiery and Sun. The amount of power in this genetic mix alone would pull the greediness of others in droves. The final battle had not commenced yet, as we now had two more walls to deal with. Phoenix is currently too vulnerable and it is up to us to keep her safe. Unfortunately, during this time, I spotted another problem that I sincerely hoped wasn’t the case, thinking more about it. Looking around the camp base site in front of me. Mila and Caleb Henry had gone all out in setting this place up with diligent quick efficiency. I made a note to pinpoint certain things along with the feel of the atmosphere of the area we were to rest in. A strong sense of deejay-vu from this place was never just a coincidence with someone like me. What I saw with my seer ability right before we arrived was how Phoenix had gotten the same feeling I am feeling now. This garden used to be so lush and beautiful. The surrounding forest-like surroundings were mythical among its towering ancient trees. Once it was a place of otherworldly beauty and magic. Now, it stands as a testament to its tragic past. The strong sense of familiarity overwhelmed me again. A soft slender hand entwined its fingers with mine. The feeling of calmness and love filled my heart and I knew it was my Toto projecting positive vibes my way. Her actions brought me back from my thoughts, she had already been standing by my side. She must have been trying to get my attention and I didn’t notice my distractions. Still donning our keeper's cloak, they slightly lit up the night as we walked hand in hand toward the dining tent. My senses started to tingle and I knew what that meant. A vision was approaching, but I tamped it down a bit. Tonya didn’t ask any questions, though I knew she had a few. She gave me my mental space for now because she definitely will be asking later. I needed to be mentally prepared for what I would and wouldn’t say going forward. Considering, I wasn’t so sure myself just yet. This garden was one of them and I knew it wasn’t just a mere regular garden. I could feel through my bones that this place was old and enchanted. In a way, I felt like it was connected to me. The Lilith black moon door pairs had chosen this spot for a reason. The pull of my fae Fairy lineage was strong here. This was one proof I counted thus far. There was something behind the Male door of Lilith's dark keypair. Now, that my seeing ability had evolved, I could see further into things that others could not. Something had bothered me though just now and it made me worried a bit. My cloak had lit up right before the Male door shut closed and disappeared. There had been another door with it just before it closed within the entrance seam. Even though it was a glimmer, I had definitely seen it. It was a white wooden door with gold trimming woven through it. A signature to my Keys of Light that I had been tasked with keeping. What this all came down to I didn’t know yet, but I was more than ready to find out. With this garden becoming a shadow of what it once was, it now had the ability to hide things within its shadows. If that door was real I had to find out, but first I had to find its location. On top of that, why was I the only one to see it? Was there also a different set of light doors? A headache was swiftly approaching, with a vision nagging my brain. We entered the tent and I instantly spotted Drake, who looked to be having a serious conversation with Nathan. Phoenix sat close by in the living room lounging area, she took comfort in one of the armchairs near the crackling fireplace. Enjoying a cup of tea and waiting patiently. Tonya spotted her friend and let go of my hand. She stood on her tiptoes in front of me and, with a soft peck on the cheek, she silently asked me with her eyes if I was okay. I took her hand in mine again, placing a light kiss on the inside of her palm. With a smile, I gave my answer, also making her cutely blush. I nodded with a smile to appease her worries and she headed off to accompany Phoenix. Mrs. Henry appeared on cue, with a pot of fresh tea and a plate filled with tea cakes. She wore a red apron with small white hearts on it. Serving the girls with a smile and entertaining them with a story from the good old times. Glancing toward the kitchen, Alexis once again was towing the food line. She wore an apron similar to Mrs. Henry, except hers, was black with pink hearts on it. My best friend had settled righteously into the role of caretaker. It didn’t surprise me because this was something she had been doing for Nathan, Drake, Ziege, and me since young. It was good to see her doing something with joy displayed on her face even in its simplicity. Suxhen had kept Alexis separate from us on purpose growing up in his attempt to keep her controlled. He was disguised as Ward at the time, but it never stopped her from finding us and making sure we stayed sane. I took a seat at the dining table, not sure of what I could do. Alexis's eyes had fallen on me for a minute. I could feel her probing but I blocked it. Had she sensed the anxiety welling around me? Suddenly, I found myself engrossed in Mariana and Mr. Henry’s conversation. They were discussing old battle tactics and the current events inside Henry's mansion. Caleb was a renowned war and history buff. Despite his legendary gateway keeper days, his mind and way of thinking were one of the best in his field. It was no surprise these two would get along. The Saber and Henry family were long-time friends. A fierce low rumble unexpectedly shook the ground underneath our feet. My seer ability reared up again more prominent than before. This time I couldn’t push it back. Whatever was happening would come forth soon, and I had no choice but to abide by it. Drake and Tonya both looked toward me, standing up from their seats as they did so. I felt a shift and the presence of the three of us being pulled through. Could it be that fate intervened with me trying to hold out longer? Where would we end up this time being pulled through? It worried me about my mates' destination as we were not holding hands when it happened.
