Ginny was startled. Where had Jeffery come from? For that matter, where even was she? Ginny looked around. She was way out in the middle of nowhere. There were no buildings around, just trees and hills. It looked like she was almost to the border of the Lycan Territory. She must really have wanted to get away, she thought.
"Ginny, you look exhausted. Should you really be running after training all morning?" Jeffery asked. His tone was so gentle and soothing. He spoke lightly, like a hypnotist or a friendly doctor. Ginny could see genuine concern in his eyes.
