Ginny tried to remain calm, but she all but ran out the front doors and to the woods. She undressed quickly so she could shift. Bri would be able to get them to the clearing much faster than she could. She tied her clothes into a tight bundle so Bri could carry them and then shifted.
Bri hastily picked up the bundle of clothes as soon as she was in control and took off through the forest at top speed. Her amber paws pushed off of the loamy forest floor powerfully, tearing up moss and grass as she propelled forward.
Please still be there. Ginny begged silently. She had really messed up. She should have come straight here, even if she had to wait for Leela. She could only hope that she wasn't too late.
