Ginny was discouraged. Leela didn't end up attending the dinner put on to close off the competition. Ginny had looked around for her, but after not having any luck she had gone to ask Griffin about it.
"She doesn't usually even come to judge these things, Frog." Griffin said, not fully making eye contact. He was distracted by the gathering and had things to attend to, so she let him get back to the party.
Ginny spent as little time at the gathering as possible. She had to accept alot of praise and congratulations before she could slip away.
Ginny flopped onto her bed after she had finally been able to escape. She let out a big sigh. Her mind was reeling with questions and worries.
