Day of the party!!

It's only been less than a week ago that we were informed of this event. But everyone in the pack that was unmated was able to be ready and at the site where it's being held. Which happens to be in my old pack.

I was kind of nervous because well let's face it who wouldn't? Back to where they had their old Alpha at the same Alpha that had told you to leave because they were afraid.

I looked in the mirror one last time before heading to the car. Wearing a light blue cocktail dress with heels, I had decided to put my hair up in a high ponytail and curl it.

Walking to the car I noticed that Alpha Curtis was standing by the passenger door waiting for me. I smiled up at him and as I was walking towards him he opened the door for me.

"You look beautiful." He said with lustful eyes gleaming at me

"You don't look too bad yourself Alpha" I responded with a flirtatious smile.

I got into the car and Alpha Curtis ran over to the driver side and climbed in and started to pull out of the driveway. As we rode in the car I thought to myself while staring out the window into the woods wondering how everyone from my old pack has been doing.

"Malaria" I heard someone saying my name and then suddenly felt a hand touching my shoulder. I jolted awake looking around when I noticed that the car had stopped.

"We are here."

"Sorry I didn't notice I had fallen asleep." I looked at the Alpha apologetically.

"It's OK we did drive a good ways to get here tonight." He said while smiling back at me.

Instantly I felt my face flush, feeling embarrassed. I covered my face with one hand and went to open the door with the other to try and get out of the car.

As we were walking up to the house Alpha Alex walked out to greet Alpha Curtis. Alpha Alex's eyes grew wide when he saw me walking up with my arm holding into Alpha Curtis. He started to get pale and fidgeting.

"Malaria, what a sudden surprise to see you. But why are you here?" Alpha Alex stated

" She is a part of my pack as well as being an unmated she-wolf. If you do not want her here then everyone that is from my pack shall leave." Alpha Curtis said with venom in his tone.

"No no no it's fine I'm just shocked that she has come. Please Alpha Curtis this way."

Man it seemed like he changed his mind quickly. I tried to hide a small smile but Alpha Curtis noticed it and gave me a quick smirk.

Upon entering the ballroom where the party is being held I noticed there were not very many she-wolves present.

"How come there are so few females?" I asked loud enough for Alpha Alex to hear.

He had hung his head low and looked back at me with sorrow in his eyes.

"We have been getting attacked left and right and whoever is attacking us for some reason is only killing off the she-wolves."

I looked at him with shock apparent on my face.
