chapter 5

I started to morph into my lycan as I walked towards the rogues growling ferociously baring my teeth.

Everyone had stopped fighting and looked at me with fear. The rogues had gone quiet and most of them started to back off except their ring leader. He started to growl back at me, making me more angry that he didn't submit.

In a flash I was in front of the rogue leader. I grabbed a hold of his neck in my hand. As he struggled to fight me off I bit into his neck and took a chunk of meat which made him bleed out. When he started to slump down I swiftly pulled his head off. I let go of his shoulder and his body dropped to the ground with a thud.

As I'm walking to the remaining rogues the earth starts to quake. Out of nowhere a demon busted out of the ground howling as he flexed his muscles.

He stares at me with his black eyes as though he is in a trance. When he hears movement behind him he breaks eye contact with me to see what is moving. To only see the rogue wolves. Howling in the air he turns and kills them with great speed. Just to turn back around and start to run at me with a murderous gleam in his eyes. As he was coming towards me I planted my feet and took up a fighting stance.

As soon as the demon got right in front of me with his hand in the air ready to strike. He suddenly stopped and sniffed the air. I stood there confused, staring at him. He immediately dropped to his knees.

"My queen, I have finally found you."

In my confusion I started to look around thinking he was talking to someone who might have been around me because there's no way he could be talking to me… right?

As he stayed there kneeling on the ground I realized he was actually talking to me.

"I don't know you. What are you talking about? I'm no queen, I'm an abomination."

All the other wolves were staring at us and it was starting to make me uncomfortable. I looked to where the Alpha was standing and staring until he started to slowly walk towards me.

"No you ate anything but an abomination, you are our next queen. Queen of the underworld. Me and my followers have been searching for you for quite some time. We need your help!" The demon said but seemed to yell the last part of his sentence.

"Help with what? I don't understand what you are asking of me."

The Alpha got to me and with a trembled voice asked "what are you?"

The demon looked at me as I was looking at the Alpha with a blank stare. " You are the chosen daughter you must.."

As if someone didn't want him to tell me something out of nowhere he was hit by a fire ball to the back and went up in flames.
