I pulled up into the school gates and stopped, looking over at her.
"Are you coming over later?" She asked, knowing that I wouldn't be coming in today and I didn't respond.
"I'll try." I replied after a while and she nodded, taking my sunglasses off of my face and placing it onto hers.
"That's good enough for me." She told me, opening her arms and I looked at her emotionlessly.
She was ruining my ego.
But not wanting to disappoint her, I leaned closer and she hugged me tightly.
