“This is our new home..... if you want it to be. “ I turn to face her and slowly bend one knee until it is resting on the grass below.

Aria

As I looked around, it all took my breath away. There was a cosy cabin that looked like it was from a dream, surrounded by a glorious landscape of flowers that appeared as if in a painting. The entire view was stunning and brought a tear to my eye. It felt like a home. A life I could have flashed past my eyes. Love, children, an endless expression of joy and heartfelt bliss could be experienced in this place. I took in the wonder of my surrounding before I turned to see my beloved get down on one knee. My heart races and my breathing quicken. He is going to propose. The certainty of that though was so strong that it took everything in me not to leap at him, throw my arms around his neck and say yes while raining kisses all over his face. I listened as he revealed his heart to me. This was the man I knew that I wanted to stand by my side. It was a delicate and simple piece that radiated warmth and love. A family heirloom. I watched as he faintly blushed while talking about the ring and it made me smile with tears in my eyes.

There was only one possible answer I could give him. “Yes, forever and always. I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”

His hands tremble slightly as he slides the ring onto my finger before his lips gently brush against my palm. He stands up and is so close to me I can feel his body heat radiating off him before he scoops me up in a princess hold. I cant hold in my laugh as he cradles me in his arms, my own wrapping around his neck. When his lips press against mine, the familiar sparks travel throughout my system. Its in the subtle decor and the way everything feels so well made. Nothing in this home feels like it was rushed, but I can tell that this room had the most care and attention to detain. Smooth wood that feels silken to the touch. Soft carpet that your feet sink into. Delicate crystal trinkets that catch the light coming through the window and throwing rainbows across the wall. Satin sheets that would glide across your skin. As I take it all in, I cant tear my eyes away from the bed. Seeing him spread out on those satin sheets, feeling them against my skin.
