Chapter Twenty-Two
Lucian POV My bladder screams at me, jolting me awake. I weigh up my options in my head; get up and pee but leave the nice warm bed and the arms of Elaina, or stay in the nice warm bed and the arms of Elaina and suffer the pain of a full bladder. Unfortunately, I choose the former, my bladder not giving me the option. I slide out from underneath a slumbering Elaina and run to the toilet after slipping on my underwear. My bladder finally empty I crawl back in bed and pull Elaina back against my chest, my fingers stroking her back. She snuggles closer to me with a soft sigh and I smile. Goddess I love this woman. I was the luckiest guy on earth. We. We are the luckiest guy on earth. Fenris purrs. I nuzzle softly at her hair letting her scent lull me back to sleep. I’m woken a few hour
