The rest of Isabella’s day passed quickly, but she couldn’t stop thinking about Alexander.
Every time she remembered his smile, she found herself smiling too.
As her shift was about to end, Mrs. Bennett called her into the office.
“Isabella, Mr. Kingston left something for you.”
“For me?”
Mrs. Bennett handed her a white envelope.
“It’s from his assistant.”
Curious, Isabella opened it.
Inside was an invitation.

Special Guest Invitation
She stared at it in disbelief.
“There must be some mistake.”
Mrs. Bennett shook her head.
“There isn’t. Mr. Kingston personally asked for you to receive it.”
Isabella thanked her and left the office.
Outside the hotel, she looked at the invitation again.
“Why would he invite me?”
Just then, her phone rang.
It was her mother.
“Hello, Mum.”
“How was work today?”
“It was… unexpected.”
“What happened?”
“Alexander Kingston invited me to a charity dinner.”
There was silence on the other end.
“The billionaire?”
“Yes.”
Her mother laughed softly.
“Maybe God is opening a new door for you.”
“I don’t know, Mum. We barely know each other.”
“Sometimes life changes when you least expect it.”
That evening, Isabella couldn’t stop thinking about whether she should go.
The next morning, she finally made up her mind.
“I’ll go.”
She didn’t want to regret missing the opportunity.
Meanwhile, in his office, Alexander looked out of the window.
Daniel walked in.
“Sir, the invitation has been delivered.”
Alexander nodded.
“Do you think she’ll come?”
“I hope so.”
Daniel smiled.
“I’ve never seen you this interested in anyone before.”
Alexander looked down at the photo from the charity gala.
“I’m interested because she’s genuine.”
At that same moment, Victoria entered the office without knocking.
“I heard you invited someone to the charity dinner.”
Alexander looked at her.
“Yes.”
“Who is she?”
“Just someone I’d like to know better.”
Victoria forced a smile, but inside she was furious.
She silently promised herself one thing.
If Isabella Carter wanted to enter Alexander’s world…
She would have to fight for it.
