AMBER 'It was the right thing to do,' I finally said it out loud hoping it would lessen my guilt but I was wrong. It kept growing in masses. I can't forget his face. How hurt he looked. I hoped the fact that we would always be linked through our sisters would lessen the pain but it didn't. He looked at me with those hurt eyes and asked to be left alone for a while. Why wouldn't he be hurt? I let him kiss me then broke his heart. I shouldn't have started something that I would obviously never be able to finish. Since I was already on the path of self-honesty maybe it was high time I summoned the courage in me and tell Tristan how I felt about him.
