I was panicking, there was forrest all around me and I couldn't remember which direction I had come from. Suddenly I hear twigs breaking in the distance along with muffled voices. I run, I run as fast as I can. My heart is beating out of my chest and my body wants to give up but I keep running. I hear them getting closer and closer. I feel someone or something grab my arm and I suddenly awake from my dream. I'm almost 18 and the closer I get to my transition into my wolf I keep having these types of dreams. But I keep getting more details each time. I feel like the moon God is trying to warn me. I never see there faces yet I always see the same dusty blue glowing eyes. I have no idea what this means and it's not like I can ask anyone about them. My father was the alpha of the Crescent Moon. We are well know because a 2 years ago my father was murdered by the Mabuz pack. There name means rulers of death which is absolutely right. They killed my father because he would not make an alliance with them. One night I heard my father talking to his beta Henry, and they both seemed upset because there was something the Mabuz pack wanted from us but my father nor his beta would tell anyone. After my father's death my mother had never been the same, but she always put on a front for the pack but at home she was different. She lost her mate, her one true love and the day she lost my father she lost a piece of her soul. She tried her best to be there for me but I didn't push her too hard, I know with time she will be able to come to terms with it eventually. I was my father's only daughter, and we were inseparable. It took a whole year for me to get back to some type of normalcy. But I too on occasion have my hard days were I miss my dad.. My 3 brothers whom are all older than me tried to help my mother and I cope with the loss of our father. My brothers are Eli & Wyatt whom are both 26, they are twins and my other brother is Tyler who is 24. my mother and father are always wanted a big family but after having my brother Tyler they never thought they would be able to have another child due to complications. so when my parents found out they were pregnant with me they were over the moon and to finally have a girl. my brother's have always been very protective over me, sometimes it is a blessing and sometimes it is curse. but I am thankful that I have them in my life and that we are all so close. before leaving my room after my reoccurring nightmare I hear Wyatt yell " Leah get down here your breakfast is getting cold!!" he said. I yell back to him " I am coming please save me some waffles!!" I jump in the shower and washed myself as quick as I can and the wrap my hair in a towel once I get out of the shower. I quickly picked some clothes just some basic ripped skinny jeans and a sweater the was ombre from white to a pink color. I go back to the bathroom to brush my long brown hair and put on a bit of lit make up. I ran down the stairs to the kitchen where my mom and brothers where. my brother is have stayed with us ever since my father died. I smelll the fresh waffles sitting on a plate for me and I run over to my seat and grab some syrup and drizzle them on my waffles. I began eating when my Eli asks " Leah would you still like to go shopping for school clothes and supplies today?" " Of course, school starts in a few days and I have pushed it off long enough." I replied. "Alright hurry up and eat so we can go shopping" Wyatt said while rolling his eyes. my brother is very manly, and definitely did not like shopping, but it is their duty they're basically like my bodyguards and never get off my back. I guess it's okay though, I never have to worry because of them. I quickly finished my breakfast and put my play in the sink. I run to the fridge and grab a bottle of water. "let's go I've got things to do today" tyler yelled while walking out the door. Eli and Wyatt made some smart remark under their breath and told me to come on. As I walk out the front door I get straight into my brother's truck and Tyler closes the door. it is a fairly nice truck seeing as how my brother is inherited my father's law firm. as we arrive at the mall we go about shopping I find everything I need quickly and then you and I get to call about some pack business. "Hey we need to get home I have some business Wyatt and I need to attend to" Eli said with a little bit of sternness in his voice. I look at Tyler and give him some very puppy dog eyes and beg him to stay with me so I could grab a few more last minute things. at first Wyatt and Eli were apprehensive because they feel I am safer with all of them there but Tyler gave them the okay but it would be all right and that help me us back there at the house. we walked around for about another hour while I grabbed some things and I started to get an uneasy feeling like I was being watched I kept looking over my shoulder and eventually Tyler noticed and asked "what's up? why are you looking all over?" I said it was nothing and then I just wanted to go home so we headed towards the parking garage. as soon as we got off the elevator in the parking garage we heard a group of muffled voices the sent shivers down my spine and I didn't know why. all of a sudden Tyler grab my arm and said " Leah you need to stay calm and hurry and get in the truck." I began to open my mouth to question him but as soon as I did I heard footsteps running towards us my brother yanked me as he sprinted towards the vehicle as soon as he reached it he threw me in the backseat and he started it up and we took off. I heard a gunshots and layer in the back floor bored as my brother instructed me to do. I am only 5'3 so I fit pretty in the floor. my brother picked up his phone and called my brother's to alert them of what was going on but was very vague and I didn't understand why.
