Chapter 42: The Mysterious Person

Hades did not show any sign of fear as he approached Scarlet in a composed manner. She turned her head to look at him, her expression eerily unruffled. Their four eyes locked gazes and stared intently at one another as if trying to take in the full image of the other within their lenses.

Hades' hand slowly moved upward and landed on Scarlet's cheek as he mumbled something under his breath.

"You have such a stunning appearance. I admire it. I have a distinct impression that I am completely insane right now. I shouldn't be here, but due to some magical force, I was shown the way to get here. I apologize for being here against my better judgment."

The icy hand was replaced by a much warmer temperature. Scarlet felt the soothing sensation spread across her entire body and seep into her core. Nevertheless, Scarlet could not bring herself to accept having s*x with Hades, regardless of how he behaved. Hades is willing to wait for days when Scarlet is more energized to leave Scarlet's room; however, today is not one of those days.

Scarlet: "I have no idea what the devil you are considering when you say that. I don't even care to try to comprehend what it is that's inside. Hades, sober up. You need to stop making a fool of yourself because your mistress is going to be very upset when she overhears you saying such horrible things."

As soon as Hades heard Scarlet's words, his hand began to gradually lower itself. He heaved a sigh. After they had their argument, Ellie was probably still around somewhere sobbing her eyes out. Instead of looking for Ellie, Hades decided to find Scarlet so that he could fill the void in his heart caused by Ellie's absence. It would appear that Scarlet was correct when she described Hades as a rotten human being.

Hades took a few steps back, then got off the enormous bed, heaved a sigh, and then turned to leave without uttering a single word.

At the precise moment that Hades shut the massive door, Scarlet let out a heavy sigh.

She rubbed her head as she looked at the chaos that had been left on the bed. Scarlet's heart almost skipped a beat as a result of the intense gaze that he just gave her. Thankfully, her willpower was robust enough to prevent her from falling into his trap. After the two of them had s*x, this man approached her in such a brazen manner, apparently under the impression that she was a woman who did not require much effort on her part. Thankfully, Scarlet was able to interrupt this train of thought that he was having. This professional relationship has not yet been determined to be doomed to failure.

The smoke floated through the air, twisting and reshaping itself into bizarre formations as it traveled through the atmosphere. A man with an attractive face was standing in the dimly lit room, looking through the enormous glass door at the landscape beyond it.

His eyes take in the entirety of the scene, including the interior of the city. The sunlight from the window illuminated his handsome face, carefully outlining the angular contours of his face in the process. The emerald green eyes, which are cherished and engulfed by the night, create a magical dark blue as if they were the eyes of a fairy from a fairy tale.

His back is very tall but has no companions. Even the smallest amount of light from the outside world was unable to envelop all of his body. The handsome man was unable to be illuminated by the surrounding light because the shadows behind him completely encircled his person.

He contemplated the image of a stunning woman that was displayed on the screen of his phone as he looked down at it. It was a very subtle movement, but it was enough for the other person to pick up on the fact that he is currently feeling happy. The corner of his mouth slowly turned up just a little bit.

"Scarlet, do you believe that you will be able to get away from me? I allowed you some free time to hang out with your friends and engage in activities that you enjoy. Now is the time for you to be obedient and return with me."

Scarlet in the room let out a loud sneeze all of a sudden.

She blinked and gave a mild reprimand. After all, who among the influential people in this world has brought her up today? Scarlet has sneezed an innumerable number of times between the time she woke up and right now. Because she sneezed so frequently, the very tip of her nose was also red because it was rubbed by her so frequently. Scarlet's irritation caused her to purse her lips, and she then let go of the pen that had been in her hand before leaning back to relax.

It's been about a week since we last spoke.

Since the day that Hades appeared out of nowhere in her room, he has not been seen or heard from again. It's possible that he recognized the error in his behavior and also felt bad for his lover, which led to him deciding to avoid confronting Scarlet.

Naturally, this was a fortunate turn of events for Scarlet, as it relieved her of any regret regarding her inability to see Hades. To tell you the truth, she did not have any issues with it at all.

The time now is eight o'clock.

Scarlet yawned and stretched before deciding to take a break. Her weak and hungry stomach was making a lot of noise, and she had a strong desire to visit a restaurant so that she could get some food and refuel herself.

The business has maintained a sizeable workforce up to the present day. The fact that this organization is in the entertainment business necessitates a significant amount of labor on everyone's part because of the need to ensure that actors, singers, and other performers are well taken care of at all times.
