Chapter 17: An Unlucky Feeling

Scarlet was not at home for the next few days. She felt that she did not receive Hades' respect, so she was very upset, so Scarlet decided to contact Vivy to go on a trip to relax.

Ellie has had the impression that Hades has become very strange ever since Scarlett left. This began on the day that she left. It was difficult to articulate his strangeness of him; Ellie was at a loss for words to describe his odd demeanor and the unconscious expression on his face, both of which made her feel extremely uneasy. She utilized a variety of tactics to get his attention, but Hades was fixated on the fact that something appeared to be vanishing.

Ellie cooed affectionately to Hades as she cozied up to him in his lap and leaned against him.

"Hades, I notice that you haven't been paying any attention to me recently."

There was a very slight movement in Hades' hand, and he quickly responded.

"No. Why do you even bother asking such an obvious question?"

Ellie sat with her head buried in Hades' lap as she pouted and reprimanded him.

"It is clear that I am here with you at the moment; however, your concern for me is not very great. I feel like your heart has been taken by someone."

Hades laughed and said, "No, that can't be it. You are the only person who can capture my heart and then use it however you please. There is no one else besides you."

"However, it seems as though you are concerned about something in recent times," Ellie questioned with a frown.

Hades nodded, he didn't deny it. It is correct to say that his company is currently dealing with several challenging issues at this time.

The children of the shareholders in the company began to urge the epidemic to compete for the huge project deployed by the corporation. Hades' father is the general manager of the corporation, concurrently holding the position of chairman of the board of directors. He was a good man but very fair, Hades' father never gave him anything because he was his son. This time too, Brown is determined to have his son fight the sons of other shareholders in the company.

Since Hades received the notification from Brown, he has been under a great deal of pressure. Hades let out a sigh and revealed that he was frustrated for multiple reasons, including this and Scarlet's departure. However, Hades could only use that excuse to dispel Ellie's suspicions and make her feel safe to remain in this location. He hoped that this would convince her to remain here.

"I have a lot on my mind right now, and one of them is the AKSSE investment project. It's just that I haven't been in the best of moods lately, and I know that has caused you some concern."

As soon as Ellie heard the explanation coming from Hades' mouth, she let out a huge sigh of relief. Even though the two of them have been together for quite some time, she doesn't seem to have any suspicions that Hades is secretly thinking about Scarlet. This may be because she is too afraid of this aspect of their relationship. She gave herself a sarcastic grin and smiled. She must not have any doubts about Hades' love.

"Oh, I see... you really shouldn't have kept something like that a secret from me. I can impart that information to you."

Ellie's nose was pinched ever-so-gently by Hades, after which he shook his head.

"No, you do not comprehend the nature of these intricate matters. I ask only that you defer to my judgment in this matter; it is your duty to remain submissive at my side."

Ellie was staying in a mansion when it unexpectedly caught fire. A thief had broken into the house and set it on fire before fleeing the scene. Because of this, Hades dragged her to this location even though he was provoking Scarlet's anger by doing so. He is concerned that he will not be able to provide adequate protection for Ellie, which will result in her being harmed. Even though Hades cherished Ellie, he couldn't stand the idea of her having the upper hand in any situation. Because of this, he will avoid making her upset by discussing issues that arise in his life or at work. Hades was head over heels in love with Ellie. His love was irrational.

Ellie's nose became wrinkled, and the very tip of her nose became rounded; she looked very much like a dog who was upset with its owner. She sulked and gave Hades a light tap on the arm.

“You don't believe me, you doubt I can't help you. Turns out in your friend's eyes I'm such a useless person."

He didn't mean to say that, Hades was suffering from a headache. He decided to find a better solution to head off an argument that was about to break out between the two of them. Even though it's a laborious solution, using this method always ends up producing the desired results.

Ellie's breasts were playfully grabbed by Hades as he deftly slid his hand into hers and grabbed them.

Ellie's anger sank to the depths of the abyss as a direct result of the sudden stinging sensation that she experienced. She seized Hades' hand and brought an end to his movement.

"That's not going to work, and I don't want to either."

The objection raised by Ellie was unconvincing. Hades gave her a sly grin before beginning to expertly knead her full breasts. His hand moved over the two pink gems that belonged to Ellie, and then he began to rub and press down on them.

Ellie let out a heartbreakingly beautiful groan that came from deep within her throat.

Hades questioned, "You can't do that, I don't want to."

While he was talking, his hand moved downwards and into the thin pantyhose he was wearing, searching for Ellie's hiding spot.

Ellie gave a small shake of her head as she realized that Hades did not have a competitor in this situation.

"No, I cannot refuse you. Hades, you're mine."
