He smiled knowingly as he sat down next to him. Even if July gave birth to Hades, who later turned out to be July's biological son, it was unavoidable that she would be the subject of criticism. This husband's wife has a straightforward personality, but she takes great pleasure in the smallest of things. It's likely that she couldn't accept the fact that Hades disobeyed her previous instructions and purposefully tested July's limited capacity for patience.
"Okay, this kid is a real no-brainer," said Brown. " Don't worry, I'll make sure to explain everything very thoroughly to you. It deserves an appropriate consequence."
July nodded. She was completely in agreement that Hades deserved to be punished. Everyone who does something wrong ought to pay the price for it. Brown is going to take care of Hades, and the other Ellie will need to step back and let her do her job.
Ellie clenched her teeth and furrowed her brow as she considered this fact. She once cautioned Ellie about the consequences of her actions. At first, July didn't intend to get in the way of anyone's life, but Ellie kept complaining about July's patience five times, seven times. July didn't want to hold back any longer because she was determined to make Ellie pay for the foolish choices she'd made.
It would be beneficial for the two of them to meet one another. She was interested in the justifications that she would concoct to shield herself from the situation.
July was in the middle of a train of thought when suddenly a large door opened and Hades came walking in.
Hades: "Hi dad, hi mom, I just got back."
July stared at him with eyes as cold as ice and directly asked him, "Hades, how should your relationship with Ellie be explained properly? It is something that I would like to hear."
The menacing glare that July cast was very unsettling. But what got to Hades was Brown's icy and intent gaze behind July. He was aware that this had caused his father a great deal of annoyance.
"Don't worry, Parents. I'll take care of this all by myself. Don't put the family's honor in jeopardy."
July gave a hesitant smile and asked, "Ha ha, will you solve it? You are most certainly trying to trick me or you believe that I am a fool. My head would already be severed if it weren't for Ellie's mistake. Although it is clear that this woman has a lot of compassion, my initial reaction was that I shouldn't put my faith in someone like her... I am so knowledgeable."
When Hades heard July making derogatory comments about Ellie, he experienced some mild annoyance; however, he was powerless to contradict her. Panne just now informed him of the shocking news that there is evidence that Ellie is the person behind the spreading of rumors. This information came to him this afternoon.
For the better part of ten minutes, he stood in his room completely bewildered, pondering in a daze the reason Ellie had done what she had. Even though these are only small pieces of evidence that aren't particularly clear, but with their acute perceptions. Hades had a feeling that Ellie was the one responsible for all of this.
His mother was correct. She prioritizes her love for Hades and her desire to be with him above all else, and she is ready to sacrifice anything to make her dream come true. It's a shame to say it, but it's accurate. A self-centered and unyielding form of love that is more pitiful than it is reprehensible.
July scowled as she observed her son's confused expression, picked up his bag, and then exited the house. Brown jumped to his feet as soon as he saw his wife walk out the door.
July's footsteps came to a stop in front of Hades, and as she spoke seriously to him, she proceeded to the door "I can put up with just about anything, but if it puts my family in danger, I cannot. Fighting the individual who brought dishonor upon my family is something I have no problem doing. Please keep that in mind, Hades."
———
July is a hard-working and determined woman who moves quickly through her tasks.
She went to Ellie's place of business the very next day and confronted her while she was in the restroom.
When Ellie was standing there washing her hands, she turned her head to look at herself in the mirror, and she was startled beyond belief to see a woman standing behind her. Ellie ran away as fast as she could.
Ellie experienced chills down her spine as she realized that the woman was most likely here to find her and that her demeanor toward her was not a positive thing at all.
Ellie's gut instinct told her to leave this location as soon as possible before the other woman attempted to take any action.
But July couldn't possibly let Ellie get away with it if she tried. She took a few steps back while simultaneously using her left hand to lock the door.
Ellie's stuttering question was, "What are you doing?" How did you manage to enter this restricted zone? What are your plans for the day? You believe that you won't be able to hurt me because all I have to do is scream, and the security guards will drag you away and turn you over to the police."
Ellie was startled when July laughed, pulled down her mask, and threw it in her face along with her oversized sunglasses: "What? After that, you pretended like you didn't recognize me. It makes me feel a little sad."
Ellie became still for a moment, and then she covered her mouth. A feeling of dread often accompanies belated regret. Every time July went to see Ellie, she would behave horribly and do terrible things. Ellie felt a deep sense of dread in her presence.
Ellie's words came out stuttering as she attempted to greet the stranger, "Hello, I didn't know you were going to be here... why are you suddenly here..."
July let out a cold snort of disgust as she stood next to Ellie and inhaled the same air as her. July was appalled that they were forced to share the same space. July narrowed her eyes, inched closer to Ellie, and pointed her finger in Ellie's direction as she did so. Ellie's body made an unconscious movement backward in response to the antagonistic attitude of the other person. One is the hunter, and the other is the animal that is being hunted; it is easy to see who comes out on top and who comes out on the bottom.
July: "You are just a weak and timid little girl. You have been informed numerous times already. Never, ever get between my family and me. You are aware of it, but you don't give a damn about it. You did this on purpose to make me angry.
Ellie laughed and shook her head, gesturing with her hand and saying, "No, you misunderstood; I never dared to have such a thought once in my mind. Not even a little bit."
The sarcastic laugh of July was heard: “Really? You aren't always interested in being my son-in-law, are you? To take on the title of my son's wife? Ellie, Hades may not have been able to see your pathetic level of lust, but I did. How are you able to avoid my notice?"
Ellie clenched her teeth and vehemently denied the allegations "Even though I sincerely care for Hades, it was never my intention to take advantage of the power and wealth he possesses. What I seek is love in its purest form. You are not unseen, but you have refused to sympathize with these little desires that I have."
July erupted in fits of laughter and asked, "True love? Is there a way to prepare that item as a meal? You are not being completely honest with yourself, Ellie. I can tell."
Ellie squeezed her hand. For her to enter the upper class with some measure of dignity, she fervently desired to have the title of becoming Hades' wife. But neither his money nor his power ever interested her.
The feelings that Ellie has for Hades are genuine. This is a sensation that she has worked very hard to cultivate, putting all of her efforts into it. Even if July insisted that she did not love Hades a thousand times, in an effort to drive a wedge between them and their relationship, Ellie did not feel threatened because she was aware of the depth of her own feelings for Hades. The fact that she is also willing to give up her life for him begs the question: how can it be said that she does not love?
July gave a chilly snort as she looked into Ellie's drooping eyes and then glared at her. Congratulations and greetings, and now it's time to get right to the meat of the matter regarding her appearance today.
July asked Ellie, "Are you the one who spread the rumors about you and Hades to the press?"
Ellie grimaced: "That's not true; I wasn't the one who started that rumor. Why on earth would you suspect that I was the one who started the rumor? I'm not stupid, am I?"
July flashed a grin while staring fiercely at Ellie: "It's possible that Hades will take your word for it and believe everything you say, but I have my doubts. You realize that just based on this rumor, you have the ability to put your foot in my door, right?"
"Why do you always try to have a negative opinion of me?" asked Ellie. "I'm sorry, but I just don't get it. There is something about me that gives you such a sick feeling in your stomach."
July: "The thing that makes me feel sick to my stomach is that..." Most likely everything you have on you at the moment."
Ellie sighed. She sat bolt upright and recited her response in a sober manner: "I have no idea where you got the information that I am spreading rumors, but I can assure you that I am not so naive as to spread my rumors in an effort to disprove those rumors. career cancellation. I'm not crazy." A small growl escaped her lips.
July gave Ellie a sly grin as she attempted to conceal her anger, but this only served to highlight how ridiculous her behavior was. It is simply incredible that a person can act unethically yet remain convinced that they have not broken any rules despite their behavior. There is no question that the skin on his face is significantly thicker than the wall.
"Okay, this should end right here," said Ellie. "I am well aware that you have no interest in listening to or believing anything I have to say. Put an end to that."
As soon as she finished saying that, she turned around and quickly expressed a desire to exit the room.
Wanting something is one thing, but getting approval for it is an entirely different ballgame. When July abruptly pulled her hand away, she had hardly taken more than a few steps forward. Ellie was pushed so far backward by the pull that she fell backward and landed on her back on the ground.
This is not the first time that July has assaulted Ellie in such a manner; this is the second time.
Ellie pushed through the pain and struggled to get to her feet, realizing that the high-end dress that she had planned to wear for the photo shoot now had dirt on her legs. She was unable to conceal her annoyance, so she hurriedly criticized July's impolite behavior.
Ellie: "What the hell are you trying to accomplish? You carry yourself in a manner befitting an uneducated woman."
Ellie immediately and deeply regretted her decision to use such harsh language the moment it was spoken. When July accepted, she had just reached the point where she was about to speak up and explain herself.
July: "Yes, I am a woman who has no education. However, Ellie, the woman you are referring to as uneducated, actually holds a doctorate from the most prestigious university in the United States. The certificates that I currently possess are sufficient to suffocate and kill you. Do you have any idea why someone with as much knowledge as I do needs to get angry with you and put you down? You ought to examine yourself first before you start casting aspersions on other people."
Ellie: "I…" She struggled to speak because she wanted to speak but was afraid to speak at the same time.
"There, you see," said July. "You only need to relax your guard slightly so that everyone can see the real you. I repeated myself numerous times, but Hades refused to accept my explanations. I didn't accidentally look at the wrong person, haha; that was to be expected."
Ellie quickly dropped to her knees and shook her head as she pleaded with July to forgive her. "I'm sorry, I was wrong, I shouldn't have told you that, but can you forgive me? I actually... I mean, really... I care for him a great deal..."
July grabbed Ellie's chin and sharply raised it before releasing her grip. Ellie grimaced in discomfort but restrained herself from voicing even the slightest objection. She did as she was told, gritted her teeth, and suffered through July's irritation.
July: "This face is beautiful, but it causes people to feel hatred. I find it hard to believe that a person like you is still able to function in this crazy society. It's a crying shame."
Ellie wasn't entirely sure what was going on, but she held her tongue so that she wouldn't appear ignorant. Prepare to be treated with contempt and hostility throughout July.
July had no intention of making her life easier. She felt like she was going to lose her mind each time she saw her.
July reached for the glass that was sitting on the table, then turned on the faucet to the sink to flush it.
As the water level rose, Ellie could hear her own heart beating rapidly in her lap. This caused her anxiety. She regarded her with intense focus while nervously clearing her throat. It would appear that Ellie had a premonition of July's malicious intent, which is why she became anxious. But if July were to look at Ellie at this very moment, she would notice that Ellie's eyes are filled with a mix of amusement and anticipation.
She picked up the glass of water and proceeded to pour it from the very top of her head down into the glass. A stream of ice-cold water runs along the contour of the lovely face. Ellie quavered, clamped her hands over her mouth, and submitted without putting up the slightest fight.
Her passivity of Ellie served as a spark to ignite Jully's anger. She gave a smirk before carrying on with her watering game.
“Boam…” It sounded like the door was kicked open, and then it flew open. the door that was almost certainly going to be thrown open once more.
Both July and Ellie had their eyes on the entrance at the same time, but it was Hades who ultimately went through it.
Ellie has torn painfully away from her mother as Hades hastened to reach her and rush towards her. Almost immediately, Hoang Chao took off his own vest and put it on her.
She was as frail as a young bird in the middle of a night of heavy rain and storms, with its wings dripping with moisture. limply propped themselves up against a thin door frame. This feeble figure, with glittering tears slowly flowing out of her eyes, was pitiful and calm. It was enough to turn the atmosphere into a void of iciness despite the fact that Ellie did not utter a single word.
Hades stared at his mother with wide eyes and clenched his teeth in anticipation, but he did not have the courage to speak to her.
July turned her icy blue eyes to look at him. It was enough for Hades to be wary of the woman's arrogant appearance for her to have been born into the most prosperous family. He is well aware of the fact that he is not the one who can exercise control over July. She reminded him of his father in that she was tough and self-sufficient. It's either a way of thinking that moves too quickly or acting on emotions, both of which are bad habits.
She cast an angry glance in Ellie's direction while sneering at her son.
It was obvious that this child was looking at his mother with eyes that were filled with rage and animosity. It would be impossible for a mother's heart like July's to accept the fact that her son would label her as a crazy woman. She had a strong desire to go ahead and give Hades a slap in the face. But all of a sudden, July lost interest in anything, and she just stood there and watched Hades and Ellie embrace.
Hades was able to keep his temper in check as he confronted his mother with the following question: "Mom, why did you come to this place, and why when you come to this place and then have such lewd behavior...? You are obviously aware of this. you have no idea who she is, but you have harassed her five or seven times."
July asked, "What kind of demeanor are you bringing to this conversation with me?"
Hades lowered his voice and said, "I'm sorry, but you're really wrong this time." He felt like he was exaggerating his point a little bit.
It appeared as though she was listening to the most absurd thing in the world. July laughed, and then he started walking away.
Her last words were: "If your love for Ellie is as strong as you say it is, you should avoid getting involved with Scarlet. I can't wait to see the look on your face when you realize that the woman you care about the most is also the one who makes you feel the most anxious."
Hades let out a sigh, and then he turned his gaze to Ellie.
When I was there, the wing was in a truly terrible state. He never imagined that his mother could act so ruthlessly, like a criminal. She wasn't always like that, but for some reason, when she was confronted by Ellie, she lost all self-control and became extremely hostile.
Ellie seized Hades's hand and immediately started crying her eyes out. She bowed her head, crying as she appeared contrite and guilty, and said, "Hades, I'm sorry that you and your mother are upset with each other because of me. I have the distinct impression that our relationship is being severed as a direct result of my interference... Could your relationship improve if I were to stop being in the same room with you?"
Hades heaved a sigh as he realized that he, too, was clueless; July was the only one who knew the answer to this question.
After giving Ellie a tender peck on the forehead, he reached out to take her hand.
Because Hades' men had already surrounded the area, there was no danger of the information that he and Ellie had discussed being shared with anyone else in the world.
He went and got Ellie a cozy outfit, then sent someone over to help her get changed as quickly as possible. Hades took great care in drying Ellie's wet hair, as did he with everything he did, which was both lovely and gentle.
She seemed to take great pleasure in his care as evidenced by the charming smile that formed at the corners of her mouth.
Ellie: "It feels like a lifetime has passed since we last did something nice like this for one another. It was amazing… Suddenly, I had the sensation that the cups of water that your mother poured over my head had been the right decision.
Hades reprimanded: "Stupid, don't talk like that. You have not and will never deserve such hostility directed toward you. Since it was not appropriate for my mother to treat you in such a manner today, please accept my sincere apologies on her behalf."
Ellie smiled through her tears as she waved her hand and sighed. She is willing to take full responsibility for her actions, as she does not want Hades' mother to have even a trace of a negative reputation: "Please refrain from speaking about your mother in such a manner. It's possible that I irritated her at one point. If I was more pleasant, your mother might not dislike me as much as she does. I get it...so I can't say that I blame her."
Hades was able to read the sorrowful expression in her stunning eyes. He felt sorry for Ellie. Even though his feelings for her aren't nearly as strong as they used to be, it's impossible to deny the fact that he values the time he gets to spend with her more than anything else in the world. In addition to this, there is the natural feeling of guilt that comes along with breaking a promise to someone in the past.
Hades interjected, "Do not say that."
He got down on one knee in front of Ellie and assisted her in wiping away the tears that were building up inside her eyes.
Ellie's heart was slowly touched by that warmth, and it kissed her worries and troubles, causing them to gradually fade away.
She sighed and said with a shaking head, "If only one day your mother would accept me? It is without a doubt going to be the happiest day of my entire life."
Hades wrapped his arm around Ellie and whispered: "You need not worry; I am certain that we will be able to hold out until that day. Don't be concerned."
