Chapter 19: Invitation to come back

"The title of the book you finished reading earlier is "The Sanctuary of Eternal Song," and it was written by the renowned author Goeeranst. I have read it a great number of times, but no matter how many times I read it, I always come away with a new idea." Hades came up behind Scarlet and put a hand on the book that she had been holding earlier. Scarlet nodded, she felt the same way about Hades. She replied. "Whether we like it or not, people are going to have to mature as time goes on, and we just have to accept that. Therefore, whenever we read a book, the content of that book applies to the here and now. Our thoughts at that time will be the best indicator of our actual development." Hades smiled warmly at Scarlet as he nodded his head and placed his hands on the desk in front of him. Ellie will never be able to talk in the same way as Scarlett because she simply does not have her level of comprehension or her level of expertise. Since she was a young girl, Scarlet has always possessed the intelligence and cunning necessary to approach other people in a social setting. Both of them shared a lot of characteristics already. Hades: "You are aware that I called you back here to have a significant conversation with you, right?" Scarlet: "I am aware of that. It is completely beyond my comprehension as to the rationale behind your desire to collaborate with me specifically. There has never been a time when the two of us have collaborated on a project before. It's not even appropriate to call the two of us friends at this point." Hades chuckled as he calmly responded while stroking the ring that was on his ring finger. "Do you not believe that the relationship that exists between the two of us is more intimate than that of two friends? We have the protection of the law because we are a married couple." Scarlet laughed while putting her arms behind her back. She looked at Hades with contempt and mockery in her eyes. It would appear that after the night of the two of them making love, the distance between Hades and Scarlet has become a little closer as a result of Hades's ability to say these nauseating words with such ease. However, making love is just a very small thing that exists in Scarlet's life. For her, making love is about satisfying her own personal needs, not exactly something to ease her mood. Scarlet has never taken her feelings seriously with any man who has ever made love to her, perhaps that's why she has never been hurt so badly. Scarlet: “Stop talking nonsense. I want to hear the gist of today's meeting." Hades: “Okay, you don't have to rush, sit down on a chair and have some tea. We both have plenty of time to discuss this.” Two aromatic cups of tea are served with a tower of colorful pastries. The pure scent of flower tea makes the space in this room more intimate and comfortable. The scent of tea is fragrant, and gentle but causes a feeling of attachment that is hard to let go of, it curls in the air, kisses Scarlet's rosy cheeks, and hides in her flowing red hair. Hades stared intently at Scarlet. The more time he spends with Scarlet, the more special features he can see only in her. It was obvious that his tea-drinking movement was normal, but it caught his innocent gaze. Scarlet sips a cup of fragrant tea enjoys and feels the light sweet fragrance in her mouth. She said: “Your tea is very fragrant, the skill of the tea maker is worth learning.” Hades: “If you like, you can take that person. I'm not a tea person, so I don't drink much tea either." Scarlet laughed, she put her teacup on the table and said. “What about your little mistress? I see she really likes tea. Don't you just let the tea maker leave with me without fear of making your little lover jealous?" The simile is humorous and carries a lot of deep meaning. Hades couldn't help but laugh. Scarlet always has a way of talking to irritate others. But even if they are provoked, people can't help but try to continue wanting to prolong the story, just to hear her say a little more. "Don't be so harsh with Ellie," Hades admonished. "She didn't start as a particularly bad person. The fact that she loves me so much is the only explanation for why she behaved inappropriately toward you in the past. Kindly extend your forgiveness to her." The smile on Scarlet's face gradually faded away. She once more displayed a cold expression on her face. "Just what exactly do you mean? You call me a petty person?" Hades shook his head and said with a wave of his hand, "No, I didn't mean that. I just want you to relax and take Ellie's side in this argument rather than taking the offensive. Even though I am confident that you will not cause Ellie any harm." Scarlet: "Are you uncomfortable around people?" It made her laugh. Hades: "Yes, I am very awkward." Scarlet: "If you are in trouble, the marriage contract is not something that you should have signed in the first place." Do you understand?" Hades heaved a sigh and said: " "You are aware of the reason why I am required to sign this document. Why bring it up at this point? Saying it at this time will not affect the outcome in any way." Scarlet positioned her arms in a cross pattern and sat up tall. Her piercing gaze remained fixed on Hades' eyes as she obstinately attempted to decipher his innermost thoughts at that very moment. The monotonous sound of the clock and the complete lack of conversation in the room contributed to an atmosphere that was significantly more weighty than typical. Scarlet gave Hades an intense look in response to his observation of her, and Hades did the same to her. Both of them looked at one another and made assumptions about the other person's thoughts as they did so. In the end, Hades caved into Scarlet's momentum and spoke first. Scarlet was victorious. Hades: "All right, I shouldn't bring that up because I don't want you to feel comfortable. I need to talk to you about something important today, Scarlet, so I'm going to ask you to come back to my house. It is very important to me because it has to do with the progression of my career in the future." Scarlet decided she no longer wanted to joke around or stress out. In addition to that, she was curious as to the reason that Hades had invited her here. Hades: “The AKSSE project is the biggest project of the last ten years. Now all the branch managers like me are trying to develop a complete project plan to compete for the implementation of the AKSSE project. This project is extremely large, it can change my standing position in the corporation.” Scarlet asked seriously, "Didn't your father help you with this?" Hades shook his head: “No. My father is egalitarian. He won't accept to help me because I'm his son." Scarlet was unable to suppress her grin as she nodded her head. The AKSSE project is a very significant one indeed. The construction of this project includes the participation of Scarlet's family as well. However, Scarlet did not participate in the AKSSE project alongside her family because she had other projects that required her attention. Since Scarlet is currently focused on developing her business, it is impossible for her to attend to the needs of others. However, Hades requested Scarlet's assistance and assured her that he would make a significant profit off of it, so Scarlet reluctantly considered complying with his request. Scarlet said, "This project is big, so of course, it will bring together a huge talent pool from all over the world. I guess that you are not the only branch manager to think this way; there are probably other branch managers who agree with you. They are also very busy looking for people who can assist them." "I know, and that's why I came to you," Hades said. Scarlet questioned, "Why should you pick me? When viewed from the perspective of a company, it is obvious that other people are capable of performing this task more effectively than I am." Hades: "However, I have the impression that you will be able to assist me with this matter." Scarlet: "How you feel has the potential to make you appear to be an idiot." Hades: "Ha ha, believe me, I'm sure I'm not mistaken." The tone of their conversation was made a little bit more light-hearted by Hades' infectious laughter. Scarlet relaxed her guard and started talking with Hades about the primary obstacle in the way of completing the AKSSE project.
