July gave Ellie a condescending look before reaching out and gently taking Scarlet's hand and pulling her in closer to herself. She was extremely close and affectionate to Scarlet.
“Good daughter-in-law, hurry up and stand next to me. Don't stand next to this person, the aura of low-class people like Ellie will only make us more uncomfortable."
Ellie clenched her teeth and reminded herself that she wasn't a cruel person to have to endure July's terrifying reserve. Indeed, her family history isn't as illustrious as July's and Scarlet's, but despite this, she has always had a hard time standing on her own two feet over the years. Her consistent efforts have earned her a great deal of admiration from the public, but all of her dedication cannot earn her even a modicum of respect from Hades's family.
His mother has always thought of Ellie as a girl, based solely on her outward appearance; she believes that Ellie has nothing of value to offer on the inside. Every time they were together, she would always use profound language, language that contained a terrible irony.
Ellie made several attempts to cultivate a close relationship with July in the hopes of one day marrying her son, but July maintained a cold demeanor toward her. July drew a line in the sand between the two of them and told Ellie in a stern voice that they could never be in the same place at the same time for an infinite amount of time.
Ellie was in so much pain that she was unable to utter a single word as July and Scarlet's fist felt like it was rubbing a handful of salt against her open wound. Ellie's anguish could be seen clearly in her eyes, which were the only part of her body that was still moving.
Scarlet was not the type of person who had a kind heart and enjoyed helping others, especially when it involved her mother-in-law. She looked at Ellie's miserable appearance and July's excitement. Scarlet was not a person who liked to help others. It is best to approach it with caution. Therefore, Scarlet chose to remain silent and did not comment further, she turned herself into a spectator, attentively observing the story of the two of them.
Ellie's delicate complexion was slowly drenched in glittering tears. Her beautiful weak figure became even more heartwarming. When you look at her now, it's like you're looking at a sad glass doll that's being teased by mean people outside to cry. This appearance can be thought of as a super powerful weapon, capable of striking fear into the heart of any man who happens to see Ellie at this very moment.
Even though Ellie was covering her entire face with a mask, she still had beautiful eyes with flexible lids and thick lashes that were curled into a curl.
Scarlet had a headache and didn't want to stand here and watch Ellie cry any longer; however, she did so anyway. Scarlet should just give up and stop trying to get this superstar girl to apologize to her because it's highly unlikely that she can. Anyway, Scarlet does not lack clothing, so it is not a big deal for her to dispose of this dress because she has plenty of other options.
She slowly turned her attention to July.
"Mom, it's time for us to go. It's not worth it to me to hang around here and argue with her any longer."
July nodded as she gently stroked Scarlet's hand while giving Ellie the cold shoulder.
The two of them were getting ready to leave when all of a sudden, a voice from behind them that was filled with anger was heard.
Scarlet and July had just turned back when suddenly a girl wearing a black dress rushed forward and grabbed July's arm. She was so enraged that she clenched her teeth and clenched her other hand around July's wrist in a violent grip. July and Scarlet were momentarily taken aback by the girl's menacing demeanor.
Scarlet realized this strange situation in an instant, she hastily yanked the hand of the girl in black. Drag July to the back and keep her safe.
"What is your name? Why did you show up here and behave like such a crazy person?"
The other young lady let out a loud snort and then cruelly pointed her index finger in Scarlet's direction.
"Do you believe that it will be easy for you to bully my friends? You have no idea who you may have just touched."
July's heart was already on fire, but the girl's belligerent demeanor stoked the flames almost instantly. She moved to the side and raised her voice as she did so.
"What is your name? You should give careful consideration to what you want to say before you do so because I could cause you to live the rest of your life with regret."
The other girl made a snide comment while laughing at July while crossing her arms.
"I don't care where this auntie came from or what kind of family she came from. I just want you to realize that what you and the young girl standing next to you did to my friend was completely unacceptable and wrong. Two people pick on one person, and the rest pick on the vulnerable."
July laughed. Then don't be afraid to step forward. She was caught off guard by the sudden appearance of the person who provoked her anger. A very long time ago, nobody would have had the guts to treat her like that. Things are beginning to take on a more intriguing tone for July.
"Ellie, is this someone that you know?" July's intense stare was directed at Ellie as if she should immediately explain this peculiar circumstance.
Ellie suddenly opened her eyes, and just as in a dream, she walked out of the room and grabbed the hand of the girl in the black robe. Then she compelled the girl in black to heal before July, apologize, and bow her head. Ellie's career is very important to her, and she does not want it to suffer as a result of this monstrosity.
