Chapter 50: Identity exposed

Scarlet was the first one to open her eyes as the soft sunlight of the early morning crept into the room and began to illuminate the bed. She couldn't remember the last time she felt so at ease; it had been a very long time. Since they left Devilin, Scarlet has been waking up every morning with nightmares about what he has in store for her. Because it is the result of a protracted period of mental and physical abuse, there is currently no treatment available for it.

The body ached, and there was not much strength left. She c****d her head to the side and turned to face the man who was intently observing her while she slept. Her upper lip quirked up slightly at the corners, revealing a charming smile. Even Scarlet herself was unaware of the fact that she had smiled involuntarily when she first saw him.

Large arms wrapped themselves around her waist and held her firmly in his lap, refusing to let go of her grip. In the same way that his warmth engulfed Scarlet, the aroma of an old forest engulfed the very tip of her nose. On such a lovely morning, giving Scarlet's disposition a gentle caress.

If there had been people screaming outside the door, this peaceful scene never would have been able to take place. And Ellie was the one who let out that monstrous scream, of course.

She had heard that Scarlet was staying in the same room as Hades, so she assumed that she had arrived here to catch someone cheating.

"Open the door right now," said Ellie.

The employees who were stationed outside made an effort to stop Ellie, but they maintained a respectful distance between her and the entrance to VVVIP 999.

The leader of the shift cautioned the woman, saying, "Lady, you should not act like that." The customers who are currently napping in my room won't be pleased if their rest day is disrupted, so please be considerate of their needs. I will walk you to the lady's room, which is located at VVVIP 998. Do you agree that this is most likely just an unnecessary case of misunderstanding on my part?"

He said while maintaining a cordial smile. The typical actions of a leader in resolving issues that arise at their place of employment.

Ellie gave a sarcastic retort while shaking her head and clenching her teeth, saying, "You think you can stop my footsteps, you fool. Bring the key to the other room as soon as possible before I lose my mind. I have to go in there because my boyfriend is with another woman in there; could you please open the door as soon as possible?"

The head of the shift immediately shook his head and stated his refusal: "No way. I'm so sorry, ma'am, but if you had your way, other people's personal space would be invaded, and I wouldn't be able to fulfill your request in any case."

Ellie glared with disdain at the person in charge of the shift while hissing venomously through the bulky mask.

Ellie: "Do you know who I am to speak to me in such a disrespectful manner? I have the power to make your eyes water right away."

The shift leader remained calm in the face of both physical and verbal threats and confronted the individual. It would appear that he has dealt with several situations very similar to this during his time working at the OJJ hotel.

Ellie was addressed firmly by the shift leader, who did not display any hostility toward her and still accorded her the utmost respect. "Lady, our request cannot be fulfilled. If you do not cooperate with the requirements that have been established by my hotel by applicable regulations, I will ask you to leave this location."

Ellie is Hades' little princess, and ever since he brought her to this OJJ hotel, the staff in front of her have been doing their best to find a way to fulfill all of her requirements ever since she arrived. However, now he dared to decline her request. She was irate, but she had no idea what to do about it.

Ellie continued to insist that the door be opened, saying, "I'm not kidding with you guys. None of you are strong enough to withstand my anger. Please open this door before I slam it in your face."

Ellie's distinctive disguise consisted of oversized black glasses that covered the lower half of her face in addition to a thick mask that had several layers. Sufficient for her to do whatever she wants and say whatever she wants to say.

The leader of the shift spoke a little more quietly while simultaneously becoming more authoritative and serious. It was the same sentence that he had just finished saying, but he kept repeating it: "Dear lady, our request cannot be fulfilled." If you do not cooperate with the requirements that have been established by my hotel by applicable regulations, I will ask you to leave this location.

Ellie had the impression that regular workers looked down on her because of her position. She tried to push the shift leader away by waving her hand, but she was prevented from doing so. It was the hand of a tall security guard who was preventing her from moving forward. The combination of his large build, muscular body, and nearly two-meter height made him a formidable obstacle. He cast an intensely hostile look in Ellie's direction.

The security guard addressed the woman, saying, "Lady, you should not resort to violence in this place. Our OJJ hotel is a place where guests are welcomed and served with a respectful attitude; however, if a customer has an inappropriate attitude toward our staff, we reserve the right to refuse service to that customer. Hope you understand.”

Ellie's demeanor came under attack from a variety of employees, including those working in customer service and delivery, as well as a security guard. It was very awkward for her to be here by herself, feeling helpless as she debated with individuals who, in her mind, held a lower social status than she did.

Ellie screamed and then ran straight up to the security guard, where she proceeded to punch him multiple times.

Ellie was only able to give the security guard a light massage with her few punches because he was as tall as a giant. The expression on the security guard's face conveys his extreme displeasure with Ellie's inept behavior, but it is extremely negative.

He didn't use a lot of force, but in his attempt to push her away, he managed to break her glasses. The dark glass was thrown in the opposite direction, where it landed and shattered upon impact with the ground.

Ellie became terrified and froze up when she noticed that everyone was staring at her in shock.

The leader of the shift couldn't help but be amazed, and he let loose with an exclamation from his mouth: "Oh my god, she's not the actress Ellie who has a golden personality and is praised by everyone for her behavior like an angel… It seems that everything was an act all along."

The security guard crisscrossed his arms and gave a hesitant smile as he spoke. "It's amazing," he said, "I also guessed you would be a celebrity, but I didn't expect you to be actress Ellie. After today, everything that you have spent so much time and effort trying to construct will be destroyed."

In a state of panic, Ellie crouched down, hastily picked up the shattered glass, and then pressed it against her face. But for some reason, the glass shattered precisely where it needed to, so she was able to keep the spotlight on her stunningly beautiful eyes.

Others had the impression that her heart was going to explode because it was beating at such a rapid rate and because its owner was so frightening that it caused the heart to pound so furiously inside her chest. The skin on Ellie's head began to tremble, and a thin film of ice-cold sweat began to run down the back of her neck. Her thoughts were absent as she was surrounded by mockery and laughter.

When Ellie was sitting huddled on the floor, the previous arrogance and bossiness vanished, and all that was left was the pitiful and lonely side of her.

Everything was shattered; however, it is unclear why the glasses fell off at this particular moment. If it became public knowledge that she had mistreated the employees who worked at the OJJ hotel, her professional reputation would be irreparably damaged. Scarlet will learn about this, and once she does, she will employ this information to suffocate Ellie's aura and render her unable to raise her head.

During the tensest part of the situation, a vest with a recognizable aroma suddenly materialized on her body. She felt herself being encircled by a warm and secure space that comforted her and shielded her from the fear that was growing inside of her chest. Ellie's eyes welled up with tears as she made a hasty retreat toward the safety of the fire.

Ellie cried out to Hades, "Save me, they've recognized me."

This hug was considerably more tumultuous than Ellie's earlier disclosure. People who were standing around started squatting down, murmuring to one another, and having a conversation.

When Hades looked at them with his icy and authoritative gaze, everyone who wanted to talk about the world immediately stopped talking. They exchanged glances and then made a hand signal to one another to suppress their laughter.

Hades was able to catch a glimpse of what was taking place here as well. Even though Ellie is largely to blame, he still must look out for her because she is his woman.

Hades: "Are you making derogatory comments about your customers?"

The leader of the shift was also aware that they had acted unreasonably earlier, and as a result, she took initiative and apologized to Ellie before anyone else could.

She said: “Lady, we shouldn't have such uncivilized behavior. I sincerely apologize to you and look forward to your forgiveness.”
