Chapter 29: Wedding Gift - EAFFS

Hades could do nothing to stop his mother's authoritative behavior toward him. He heaved a sigh, peered into the narrow space that was hidden by the bookshelf, and then made the decision not to continue speaking.

July regarded Hades with contentment as he gazed upon him. It is entirely acceptable for her to behave arrogantly. Prominent family history, with the ability to develop one's own business independently. Because of their financial differences, July never entertained the idea that she would marry Hades' father. Both of their families set them up with each other, but it didn't take long for them to realize that they were a good match for each other because they are intelligent people.

The most compelling evidence that July made the right decision is her love that has endured over many years. She has a great deal of faith in her ability to read people, and she's willing to bet that Scarlet is the ideal woman and partner for her son.

When July looked at Scarlet, she was immediately brought back to her younger self. The youthful disposition, intelligence, arrogance, and self-assurance that radiate from the eyes and mannerisms are enough to inspire awe in anyone. Scarlet is a great example of the ideal woman because she possesses all of these desirable qualities: a prestigious family, natural beauty, a high IQ, etc. It is easy for other people to feel envious of her.

"Scarlet, I was wondering what your thoughts were on the present that your father-in-law and I put together for you. We will pretend that this is a wedding present for both you and Hades, but in reality, we want to hand over complete control of this business to you."

After she finished her sentence, she looked over at Scarlet and gave her a wink. Scarlet laughed out loud in response to July's grin of amusement.

She is aware of the reasons behind July's enthusiastic response to EAFFS.

The holding company owned by Ellie is known as EAFFS. Ellie is a well-known model and actress for this production company at the moment. She is considered a "pet chicken" by EAFFS, which provides her with the utmost care and support possible. Ellie receives the utmost attention and priority from the company's most valuable resources. It's possible that the extra love and attention that Ellie received allowed her to grow into the person she is today.

This is not the reason why July is filled with such a sense of anticipation. She wanted Scarlet to exert authority over Ellie, which was the primary reason she was adamant about making the purchase. Ellie has been offered an exclusive contract with EAFFS, which will last for ten years if she chooses to sign it. Because this contract is a two-way agreement, it cannot be terminated. It is advantageous to her by ten, and it is advantageous to the company in eight parts. For this reason, the EAFFS company has demanded extremely high compensation costs from Ellie to avoid the scenario in which Ellie unexpectedly wants to terminate the contract.

Scarlet: "Isn't this a company that specializes in the entertainment industry?"

"Right on, the EAFFS company is an entertainment business, Ellie is the "star" that the company carries more of than any other star."

As soon as July's attention was drawn to Hades, the smile that had been on her lips vanished, and her sharp gaze moved quickly across his features.

Hades didn't care; he was intently focused on the screen of his laptop.

Scarlet: "I am familiar with that young lady. I believe that girl to be the woman that you and I talked to in the mall."

"Yes, that's her," July said.

Scarlet: "That girl is so talented in the acting and modeling industries. We are in a position to make full use of her abilities and profit from her."

Hades became annoyed when he noticed that his wife was the topic of conversation and raised his eyebrows. When he spoke, the conversation that Scarlet was having with his mother was immediately cut off.

"Since Ellie is a gifted individual, we should provide her with a wealth of opportunities to help her grow. If she has a promising future, it indicates that the EAFFS company will earn a significant amount of money off of her."

Scarlet cracked a grin and said, "Of course, we will have to invest in her. What is it that you do that all of a sudden causes such a rush?"

Hades: "I only want you to understand the reality of the situation. Because I do not wish for there to be any kind of retaliation, I will also have control over EAFFS. You understand what I'm getting at, don't you?"

July made a pouting face and said, "This matter does not need you to say. Scarlet will know the meaning, and she will adjust the work accordingly."

She waited a few moments before speaking, at which point she raised her voice and asked, "Why don't you trust Scarlet's ability to manage affairs? Or is there another factor that has you on edge?"

Naturally, the situation escalates to a level of unusual tension. Scarlet jumped to her feet and put an immediate stop to the argument that was going on between her mother and her daughter. Although it was obvious that Scarlet was still present, the two of them acted as though they intended to continue their fight until the very end. Although they didn't signify anything at all.

Scarlet spoke up and said, "Okay, you two don't have to fight. It shouldn't be difficult to deal with any of these issues."

She gave Hades a sideways glance while simultaneously carrying on a conversation with him in silence. Hades was aware of the situation, so he ceased arguing with his mother and maintained his silence. After that, she reached out and gently reassured July by taking her hand.

"Mom, the significance of this gift cannot be overstated. However, I have never managed an entertainment company before, and I was wondering if you could assist me in this endeavor."

Scarlet was indeed kind and intelligent, and July's happy smile was a direct result of Scarlet's gentle improvisation.
