Ellie's attempts to convince Devilin to trust her through straightforward language are unsuccessful. Because he is a wolf, he is significantly more crafty than Ellie, who is comparable in intelligence to a rabbit. The look of naivety and insecurity that Ellie wore made Devilin unable to contain his laughter when he observed her. It was Ellie's pitiful appearance that gave men the desire to be conquered and possessed by her. Men were drawn to her because of this look.
He didn't always act like this, but when he did, his lovely flower got upset with him and eventually left.
Ellie's feelings of impatience and annoyance increased as she realized that Devilin was watching her. She clenched her fists, gritted her teeth, and echoed her request one more time. "Devilin, I don't want to sit here and argue with you over silly things," she said, clenching her fists and gritting her teeth. "I would like to reiterate my suggestion, and I sincerely hope that you will give it careful consideration."
When confronted with Ellie's attitude, Devilin simply shrugged and kept his expression neutral.
"Tell me, what it is that you can do to assist someone like me", Devilin.
He was curious as to the thoughts that were going through this woman's mind. If his assumption was correct, then this woman had a plan in mind, and for that plan to be successful, Devilin's support and influence were required.
Ellie inhaled deeply before beginning to describe the general framework of the strategy that she intended to put into action. This time, she staked her well-being on the outcome of the game. Two possible outcomes can result from this situation: the first is that she will have someone watching her back, and the second is that this will become public knowledge, and she will be forced to give up everything.
The two of them stood facing one another and gave each other a thoughtful look while the room went back to being completely silent.
Ellie was forced to lower her head and bury her gaze deeply in the wine glass in front of her as a response to the continued severity of Devilin's gaze, which was terrifying her.
The sudden outburst of laughter came from Devilin, who said to Ellie, "Your idea is not bad. But I don't think that's a good idea at all."
Depressed. This was the sensation that Ellie found herself engulfed in. Her tears made her eyes look sunken and sad. These legs are carrying such a heavy burden that it is bringing her to her knees with emotion. It was funny that when she first thought about it, she believed that she would have the opportunity to change everything.
Ellie c****d her head to the side and smiled sarcastically at herself. She had an unrealistically high opinion of herself, which led to a gruesome and excruciating conclusion.
She got to her feet because she did not wish to feel any more uneasy being in this location. She wants to go.
However, contrary to what Ellie believed, Devilin did speak up to prevent her from continuing.
"Why did you leave in such a hurry?" demanded Devilin. "I haven't concluded what I was going to say just yet."
Ellie took a momentary pause before looking at Devilin with a bewildered expression on her face. However, she did not say anything and instead simply stared directly into his face while she awaited Devilin's response.
The Devilin said, "I can work with you. However, the plans need to be adjusted. I think that your plan is not sound in the least. It is in a terrible state."
Ellie: "There is no way that my plan could ever be considered flawless. That is why I am interested in hearing your recommendations and thoughts on the matter."
After receiving a nod, Devilin continued: "You are grossly underestimating Scarlet's wit, which is unacceptable. She is not your typical kind of woman. You might have been able to fool her when she was a teenager by using simple tricks like this one, but not any longer. You will be completely out of control after she has finished with you."
Ellie's expression revealed that she was having a hard time believing it. Devilin is a strong and intelligent man, and he believes that a person worthy of his respect must have extraordinary capabilities. But at this moment, he was admiring Scarlet, and Ellie was under the impression that Scarlet was not nearly as formidable a person as he thought she was.
She continued to frown and crossed her arms over her chest.
Devilin was well aware that Ellie did not believe what she had just said and was not surprised by this fact. He is also too lazy to tell Ellie about his history; the only piece of information he can provide to her at this time is the warning that she should be cautious around her rivals.
Devilin: "The woman who will hold a special place in my heart will never be typical. Do you understand?"
Ellie: "I don't want to understand. Since I am aware that everyone has a unique point of view, I can't say that I fully comprehend everything you are saying."
Devilin gave a very slight nod of his head. He tipped his wine glass to the side, stood up, and said in a solemn tone, "I tell you, what you want to do with Scarlet is most assuredly not possible. The reason for this is because your plan is so ridiculous. Because of how ridiculous it is, it's entertaining."
As Ellie looked at Devilin, her eyes began to slightly widen, indicating that she was feeling embarrassed.
He rose carefully from his seat and slowly made his way over to Ellie. His hand, with its long fingers, was resting on her small chin as he meticulously stroked her chin with the palm of his hand. After examining Ellie's delicate features for a moment, he sighed.
"This face of yours is so holy, and it's so different from your real heart," said Devilin.
