Chapter 2: The flash marriage

This is the most important event, ushering in an era of separation between these two families; at the same time, it also affirms the solid position that these two families have achieved up to this point.

This dress is reminiscent of the princesses who wore them in the days of the old royal class, and it was pure white with a simple but elegant design. Scarlet wore it for her wedding. However, what caused the guests to admire and compliment Scarlet was the priceless jewelry that she wore on her body throughout the party. A work of art that is flawless in every way was crafted by combining several stunning blue diamonds that had excellent clarity with a complex bonding process. Because a blue diamond that was attached to it was sold for an unbelievable amount of money, the attendees had no idea how much the necklace actually cost. They were only able to make assumptions because the Lorenzo family had kept the truth hidden for good.

Scarlet's gorgeous, unblemished face was highlighted to perfection by the way her hair was neatly pulled back. Scarlet naturally possesses a very beautiful face; in fact, every one of the lines that make up her face is so exquisite that it's hard to believe. It would appear that she is a gift from God, and it is possible that God was also responsible for shaping Scarlet's face.

However, the coldness on her face made Scarlet's beauty unapproachable. She is turning herself into a rose full of thorns, hindering the closeness of others.

Scarlet's hand was taken by Hades.

The priest raised his voice and questioned Hades.

"Mr. Arkin, are you ready to spend the rest of your life with Mrs. Lorenzo?"

Hades said, "I am ready, I will be by the side of my wife until the end of her life and protect her."

As the priest slowly continued his conversation with Scarlet, he broke into a satisfied smile.

"Mrs. Lorenzo, are you ready to spend the rest of your life with Mr. Arkin?"

Scarlet: "I am ready, I vow to be by my husband's side forever and be ready to stand by his side no matter how difficult or happy it is."

The priest says, "Your vows have been witnessed by the gods, and as of today, you two officially become husband and wife. Since the gods have witnessed your vows, you are now married."

Scarlet was dragged into Hades' lap as the large hand of Hades wrapped around her thin waist and pulled her in. He lifted her veil with care and then gently planted a kiss on her lips before replacing it.

Scarlet remained completely unresponsive throughout the entire encounter; however, if one were to be a little more observant, one might have noticed that her fingers were trembling ever-so-slightly when Hades' lips touched hers.

Scarlet regarded the bridal bouquet that had fallen to the floor, cast a chilly glance at Hades, and then slowly sat down on the sofa that had been positioned in the center of the room.

The pure white wedding dress appeared with a red wine stain, the contrast between the colors made the stain even more obvious.

Scarlet's expression was bad, she put her hands on her hands and supported her head as she tilted to the side. Today, she had to put in a lot of effort to be able to create a special drama with Hades. The success of the party and everyone's blessings is the clearest proof.

At this very moment, just when Scarlet ought to be relaxing, she is being disrupted by a person who has no business being here - the mistress of Hades.

Ellie was enveloped in a hug by Hades, who patted her back gently as she shook. Scarlet couldn't hear what he was saying to Ellie because of the distance between them, but it looked like he was whispering something in her ear.

A situation that was completely out of control occurred only a few minutes ago. Ellie appeared out of nowhere in the wedding room, sobbing uncontrollably and shrieking as if someone was trying to kill her. Ellie made a hasty decision without giving any consideration to the possible outcomes. She grabbed the wine glass from the table, hurled it at Scarlet's wedding dress, and then hurled the bouquet to the ground, where she proceeded to trample it underfoot.

Scarlet got a headache after witnessing that crazed scene because she was unable to comprehend Ellie's behavior.

Scarlet: "Honey, can you explain a bit?"

Ellie became even more enraged when she heard Scarlet say the word "honey." She then hugged Hades tightly, sobbing bitterly, and reprimanded him for keeping this marriage a secret from her.

“Hades, you have to make it clear to me. You said you were going to marry me… I was going to be your only bride.”

Scarlet raised her eyebrows, then smirked scornfully. Ellie's weak and cuddly appearance only worked on men, but seeing that look in Scarlet's eyes only made her feel ridiculous.

"It is necessary for me to inquire about your identity and the reason you are present in this location. Superstar, are you aware of how foolish what you've just done was? I was under the impression that you possessed something unique; who would have thought... Looks like I overestimated you."

Ellie's face contorted into a frown as she glared at Scarlet while yelling.

"Because you don't comprehend the nature of the connection that exists between Hades and me, you speak in such a manner. You are a woman who has no shame; how can you agree to marry someone who already has a lover?"

Scarlet withdrew her smile, took a few moments to stand up, and then slowly walked over to Ellie.

Hades noticed that his head was going numb, and he was still trying to figure out how to handle the situation when all of a sudden, Scarlet waved her hand and gave Ellie a hard slap to the face.
