Chapter 30: Solve the problem

Scarlet was able to successfully entice July out of the room where she was reading thanks to her cleverness. The two of them entered the kitchen with joy and worked together to prepare the meal.
Within the library's reading room.
Ellie made her way out of the room slowly, displaying a demeanor that was utterly dissimilar to how it had been earlier. Her cheeks were red, and her eyes were wet with tears. She had a look of insecurity on her face. Ellie threw herself into Hades' arms and immediately began sobbing and wailing loudly.
"Hades, is this information accurate? I must have been the target of your mother's attention... Your mother does not want me to be by myself in any way, shape, or form. If your mother did buy the EAFFS company, wouldn't you make sure that I was put through the wringer by her? She… she… hu hu hu."
Hades was perfectly capable of comprehending Ellie's apprehension. But given the circumstances, Hades was unable to devise a strategy that would allow him to alter the situation that was in front of him. He doesn't dare show his attitude because he is afraid that it will anger July and make her act scarier. He doesn't dare show his attitude because he is afraid that it will make July angry.
"You calm down. Scarlet is not the type of person who would behave unreasonably; she will not torment you or do anything else to cause you harm."
Ellie gave a frustrated shake of her head as she felt the first stirrings of anger in her tender heart. She expressed her anxiety by burying her face in Hades' lap while crying her eyes out.
"Hades, I'm concerned about something. The power that your mother possesses is a terrifying thing. Now that she is in charge of EAFFS, you should ask her. If she wants to ruin my career, how can I fight it?"
Since Hades is familiar with July's character, she is in a position to completely derail Ellie's professional endeavors if she so chooses. Since it was obvious that July did not intend to destroy Ellie's career or her life, she simply reprimanded her whenever the two of them were in the same room together. July has a personality that, all things considered, isn't all that terrible; she just doesn't like Ellie's attachment to her son.
To be more specific, Hades may feel a greater sense of safety after Scarlet assumes control of the day-to-day operations of the EAFFS company. Because Scarlet is both a public figure and a private one, and because she has no feelings for Hades, what she does is completely equitable. Ellie needs only to be obedient and stay out of direct conflict with Scarlet; after all, Ellie has no reason to fear for her safety because Scarlet will not act against her.
But Hades had a good understanding of Ellie's anxiousness. Because Ellie was in the same predicament as everyone else, he didn't blame her for feeling afraid.
Hades: "Relax, you can count on me to be here. My mother gave Scarlet and me EAFFS Company as a wedding present when we got married. We each have an equal say in the management of the company. I will not, under any circumstances, allow Scarlet to harass you or do anything that could be harmful to you. Don't be concerned."
Ellie gave a satisfied nod while squeezing Hades even more tightly in her arms. There was nothing else she could do, so she had no choice but to concede that she would have to place her trust in Hades's heart. This storm was getting worse, and it had already completely engulfed Ellie from the inside out. It was eager to finish her off.
Ellie: "Hades, you don't let me down… because I'm all alone."
Hades caressed Ellie's forehead while murmuring something to her "Okay, you can count on me to not disappoint you in any way. Please put your faith in me and know that I will look out for your best interests.
Below the kitchen area.
Scarlet cast a hushed glance upward at the reading room. She had been able to coax July into coming down here for a considerable amount of time. Now that everything has been taken care of on the inside, she should also make an appearance up there and have an honest conversation with Hades about July's surprise gift for the both of them.
"Mom, please excuse me for a moment while I go and visit with Hades. I need to speak with him about some business matters."
When July heard that Scarlet wanted to talk to Hades, she was standing in the kitchen making an apple pie. She immediately agreed.
"You simply ascend without any difficulty to Hades' room."
Scarlet comforted July by putting her arms around the latter's waist, then leaning her head on the latter's shoulder.
"Mom, I can't wait until you make that delicious apple pie," I told her. "I have a feeling that this is going to be the best apple pie that I have ever tried."
July laughed because she was aware that Scarlet's compliment was nothing more than a polite gesture; however, how Scarlet delivered it transformed it into something incredibly endearing. She was unable to conceal her happiness and affection as she affectionately stroked Scarlet's cheek.
"I only have one son, and his name is Hades," she said to her daughter. "For a very long time, having a daughter has been one of my top priorities in life. It is a blessing that you have shown up because you are a respectful and beautiful daughter of mine. Come on, you should go up with Hades; I'll handle everything that needs to be taken care of down here all by myself."
After giving a short nod, Scarlet released her grip on the woman's hand and proceeded upstairs to the room.
As soon as the door was opened, Scarlet's eyes were met with the sight of two people who were kissing and hugging each other.
Scarlet kept her distance from the two bewildered individuals who stood in front of her as she entered the room slowly.
Ellie recoiled, acting in an oddly submissive manner.
Hades: “You came out so suddenly.”
Scarlet gathered her things and replied, "It's just that you're doing something bad that you're afraid of other people's presence."
