Chapter 31: Need to understand

"I have Hades, and he will not allow me to suffer," said Ellie.

Scarlet ceased her actions, raised her head, and gazed at Ellie with a very despondent expression on her face. Scarlet has a recollection of the fact that if Ellie hadn't teased her, she never would have done anything particularly harmful to Ellie. Scarlet does not enjoy spending time with Ellie because Ellie is not the kind of person that Scarlet should have to interact with. As a result, Scarlet does not enjoy spending time with Ellie.

Scarlet: "What is it that you truly desire?"

Ellie: "I'm not interested in anything. It's just that I want you to be aware that I am familiar with everything it is that you tell Hades' mother. I will not remain silent in the face of your suffering."

But why does Scarlet get the impression that Ellie is nothing like the image she usually portrays on TV?

Ellie: "You despise me?"

Scarlet: "I'm fine with you thinking whatever you want to think, and I won't explain anything further."

Ellie grabbed Hades' hand, sobbing: "Hades..."

Hades heaved a sigh and then pulled Ellie along behind him. He intervened, putting an end to the verbal exchange that had been going on between Ellie and Scarlet.

"Scarlet, my mother has come down to the basement to wait for you. Hasten your way down with my mom. I'll be there in a short while, too."

She immediately refused, saying, "You can't be up here to comfort your little mistress, because I told your mother that you and I are going down together. You don't want to call our relationship into question in front of your mother, do you?"

Ellie frowned, appeared to be thinking for a few seconds, and then nodded in response to Hades's gaze.

"Yes, I understand; let's go downstairs together."

Ellie: "No, Hades. You can't just go away and leave me here by myself."

Hades turned, grabbed Ellie's shoulder blades, and comforted her: “Ellie, my mom is at home right now. I can't make her suspicious. Please stay in this room and wait for me to return. It won't be long, rest assured."

Ellie stood still and watched the departure of Hades and Scarlett as she could only see their silhouettes. The anger that she felt was evident on her face. Scarlet, I do not doubt that you are currently hatching a plan to bring an end to all of our joy. Do you believe that you already own everything there is to own in the world, and as a result, you want to rob Hades? No way, I own Hades, and he cannot belong to anyone else but me.

Ellie felt uneasy because of the things that were right in front of her eyes, which was to be expected. She made a motion with her hand as if she were trying to knock everything on the table off of it. Ellie immediately disengaged from the thoughts that were going through her head and straightened herself up, but it was only for a split second. "Scarlet and July, you are going to pay the price for this in the future without a doubt. If Hades is the only person I have in my life, then no one else will be able to harm me."

Hades stepped behind Scarlet as she descended the staircase.

As Scarlet moved her full hips, her svelte figure was brought into sharper focus. The alluring dress caressed her curves in an easygoing manner, and the open shoulders displayed her slender shoulders and the fair skin that surrounded them.

Hades' eyes were riveted on Scarlet's back with such rapt attention.

Scarlet did not need to turn her head to sense the intense gaze that Hades was casting her way. She did not hold back from speaking either, teasing his ardent gaze while she did so.

"What happens? Are you that interested in the state of my body?"

Hades was taken aback, but he did not show any hesitation.

It stands to reason that a woman with as much charisma as Scarlet also possesses excellent senses.

“Ha, you are such an uncomfortably charming woman.”

She turned around, the fluttering of her eyelashes becoming increasingly noticeable. Her stunning eyes, which were an emerald green color, suddenly widened as she took in the sight of Hades within. The alluring lips puckered up, transforming into a stunningly lovely smile. Scarlet placed her hand on the handrail of the stairs as she looked upward from the bottom of the flight.

Hades smiled ever so slightly as he put his hand in his pocket.

"Are you going to sit down and discuss this matter with her once more? That sounds wonderful, doesn't it?"

Scarlet: "You have a very funny way of talking. However, being gazed upon by your lustful eyes not only makes me feel very interesting, but it also confirms to me that I am quite attractive."
