Chapter 47: Urgent Call

Ellie pushed the table which was mostly empty and had only a few dishes on it out of the way with great force. She gave a playful wink to Hades as she licked her full lips with her tongue. The awkward, seductive, and somewhat provocative gesture was reminiscent of a woman who had nearly three decades worth of experience in the art of lovemaking. Ellie was aware of the power that could be conveyed through her expressions and of the irresistible allure that her beautiful, voluptuous body possessed.

She grabbed Hades' tie, bit him on the neck, and then ripped the hem of his shirt off with great force.

Hades glared menacingly at her as he tightened his grip on her thin waist and pushed her against the table. He appeared to be in good spirits on the outside, but deep down inside he was wailing in anguish because Hades couldn't stand it when Ellie was around.

As Hades's thoughts were consumed by his guilt, he closed his eyes and tried to picture himself engaging in s****l activity with Scarlet. The moment he was about to regain control of his faculties, his phone abruptly began to ring.

Hades felt a sense of release when the phone suddenly started ringing again. He restrained himself from displaying his elation, straightened up, signaled to Ellie that she should place her order, and pressed the button to answer the phone.

Ellie glared at Hades while her body was on fire and she felt a great deal of discomfort. An annoying phone call comes in just as she and he are about to rush into each other and enjoy the pleasures of making love, but the call distracts them both and takes away some of the excitement they were feeling. Ellie was mentally uttering a thousand different expletives against the person who had called her.

Ellie was aware that Hades was one of those people who took their work seriously. Because he is so dedicated to what he does, he consistently puts in a substantial number of hours at the office. Instead of placing blame on Hades, she ought to try to understand him.

The voice of a man could be heard coming from the other end of the line.

"Boss, your wife has just entered the OJJ hotel with Devilin. They are going to room 999. My knowledge is limited to that point because the employees at the hotel who manage who checks in and out are very strict. To get inside, I had to act as if I were a paying customer." That man said.

Hades made an unconscious scowl and asked, "Going together? You didn't see wrong, did you?"

Almost instantly, the man refuted the claim, saying, "There is no mistake, I am certain I see correctly. From what I can tell, your wife appears to be under the influence of alcohol. She doesn't seem to have volunteered to join Devilin in the OJJ hotel."

Hades gripped the phone tightly in his hand and let out a loud snort. Hades's eyes flashed with rage as he struggled to keep his anger and jealousy under control. Simply respond with "Ok," and then hang up the phone.

The phone's signal has been severed.

Ellie was still sitting there in a daze when Hades turned around and hugged her while she was sitting on his lap. Ellie quickly lost her ability to breathe as a result of the passionate kiss that was planted on her lips. The tongue of Hades slithered its way into the recesses of her mouth, setting off a frenzy of activity. It was obvious that he was venting his annoyance and anger through the kiss he planted on Ellie's lips.

Ellie was only surprised for the first few seconds, at which point she immediately lunged at him and desperately attempted to return his kiss.

Hades's heart was on fire, but Ellie's gentle demeanor and seductive kiss stoked the flames even further. He abruptly pushed her away, grabbed the bottle of wine, and slammed it down on the ground before continuing.

Ellie's unconscious state was brought back to the present by the loud noise of the collision. She was perplexed by Hades' behavior, and she did not relish the opportunity to question him.

"Aren't the two of us having a good time together?" asked Ellie. "What gives you the right to treat me with such contempt? Your behavior shows no respect for me at all."

Hades consoled him with a pat on the head before responding, "I'm sorry, the secretary just now contacted me, and they said there was an urgent matter at the company. I'm sorry, Ellie, but I think I had to cancel our appointment today."

Ellie had the impression that the statement that Hades had made was incorrect, but she was unable to pinpoint exactly where the error lay. She then questioned him while holding his hand.

Ellie: "What exactly does the company have to do to make you feel the way you do toward them? You are welcome to split it with me."

Ellie's chin was gently lifted by Hades, and he affectionately shook his head as he said, "Work is a mess mixed in a slushy mess. You are my most prized possession; under what circumstances would I subject you to anxiety? Ellie, you don't need to worry about a thing because I've got it under control."

Ellie reached out and gave Hades a light peck on the cheek. When he looked into Hades' kind eyes, he was able to let go of his uneasiness.

The affection that Hades once had is still present in his other eyes. It is in her best interest to keep her worries to a minimum, given that doing so will accomplish nothing positive. It is best not to worry too much about the two of them right now because they have been getting into a lot of fights that aren't necessary recently.

Ellie: "Remember that I am always right behind you if there is ever anything you want to discuss with me. I am prepared to sew a cushy pillow for you to rest your head on every night."

"Thank you so much, my little love", said Hades.

After making that statement, he looked down at the watch on his wrist while maintaining a concerned expression on his face.

Ellie took note of his mannerisms and inquired, "Why are you looking so worried?"

"I need to hurry back and sort things out, but I can't bear to leave you here alone," Hades said.

Ellie chuckled and said, "Please try not to stress about such things. Return to the office and see to it that everything is taken care of. I'll go back to my house and wait for you there, all right?"
