THE NEXT DAY

Today, I decided to go and visit home. Not entirely because I had any choice. My father invited me for breakfast, and it would be quite interesting.
The moment the black gates of the mansion slid open, the weight of this place settled on my shoulders again.
I got into the huge mansion and in the dining room everyone was seated except for one person.
Lisa was not present.
I looked at Beth, She was sitting upright, posture perfect, lips curved into a practiced smile the moment she saw me.she was wearing formal attire, just like how Lisa was wearing on her first day at work.
