Eric and Adora walked down the narrow path they had made a few days ago back to the beach where they had first built their hut. The sun was beginning to lean to the west, creating silhouettes of coconut trees in the distance. The sea breeze that hit their faces gave them a little refreshment after a long day of activities. "I hope our stuff is still there," Adora said as she quickened her pace. "I'm not too hopeful," Eric replied while staring ahead with a wary look. Once they arrived at the beach, both of them immediately fell silent. The area they had left in a mess was now clean. There were no remnants of their belongings, no clothes hanging on the branches, and even their previous footprints had disappeared in the wind and waves. "Our stuff." Adora cast her eyes around frantically.
