Victor stared intently at Eric and Adora, his face clearly showing the anger he wasn't trying to hide.
"You know, Eric," he said in a heavy tone, "you only arrived yesterday, and we've already discovered you've disappeared without a word. What do you think about that? What did you steal and hide from us?"
Eric raised an eyebrow, trying to be calm even though he was starting to feel annoyed by the accusation. "We didn't disappear. We just went looking for food and plants. Isn't that what we have to do every day to survive?"
