The originally clear sky began to turn gray. The wind blew colder, the leaves trembled as if they shared the tense tension. The sound of thunder echoed faintly in the distance. "We should get going," Eric said as he tied the last knot on his backpack. "Before the sky gets really angry." Adora stood beside Sam who was still seated, looking up at the sky. "Those clouds are moving fast. We don't have much time." Sam tried to stand up, but her body was still weak. "I can come along. Just slowly. Just so we can get away from this place." Before they could take a step, the sound of rain began to fall like a series of soft bullets hitting the leaves above their heads. "Damn it," Eric muttered. "Quick, get in the tent!" The three of them hurriedly returned to the makeshift hut they had built
