Mr. Wu shook his head with a wry smile and said, "Mr. Yu, I'm so sorry. Mr. Li is unavailable and can't meet you at the moment."
The expression on Jared's face darkened. The Yu Family was always unchallenged in Boulder City, so no one dared to remiss them this way. This unfamiliar feeling made Jared's blood curdle.
But he then recalled that Chiao's Group was Yu Family's only saviour at the moment, so he asked through gritted teeth, "Is Mr. Li too busy to meet me, or he doesn't intend to see me?"
Upon hearing him, Mr. Wu felt a little flustered and had no clue on how to respond.
Jared then continued with a solemn tone, "Mr. Wu, please be frank with me. It's best if you can tell me what exactly Mr. Li said to you so that I can evaluate my next course of action."
